Yeah the guy who led the offense to a franchise record in pts scored, was a whisker away from winning a SB, and was in the running for MVP this year is wholly incapable of being an NFL QB. That's it, you totally nailed it.

And to be clear, I've said multiple times this year Hurts isn't seeing the field well at all. But you guys grossly oversimplify the systemic issues with this offense that it becomes comical to read the comments on game day.

Is it just coaching or did teams also take away the threat of him running forcing him back to Hurts who isn't great making decisions? I think it's both. He can be better with better coaching but he has very low situational awareness.

Tanner time?  Please?

Who exactly do you think determines who wins MVP, dude? The fans? The commissioner?

You need to learn to lose an argument with grace.  At what point did you believe the ‘talking heads’ that are nothing but week day hype and pre game hype machines that he was in the running for the best player in the league?

The *only* reason to keep the coaching staff next year is if you plan to tank anyway.

We're not winning jack anyway next year with our cap situation.

It’s crazy how quickly I’ve gone from not thinking it’s remotely possible we fire Sirianni to thinking it’s more likely than not at this point.

The problem is it seems to be a bad crop of HC candidates this year. It’s Ben Johnson and who?

Belichick, but Jeff and Howie want a puppet for a coach and Belichick isn’t a puppet.

Sirianni and his band of rejects ( Johnson, Patricia, Desai) can all hit the road this year. Stoutland is the only one that can stay on this staff as far as I’m concerned. The playcalling is atrocious on both sides of the ball. There is no way our players are this bad. Look around the league and look at the talent being squeezed out of lesser rosters. We need to get younger in a few spots and upgrades can be made. But this is definitely a coaching issue.

Yea to say the team doesn’t have talent is crazy. It’s just poorly coached

I think it’s a combination of: the talent of this team is overrated and they’re poorly coached.

How many Eagles fans are even going to want them to win next week?

🙋‍♂️

Does QB1 still have the 4th best odds at the MVP?

When someone is more negative than me it's probably too far.

I've been as big a Sirianni fan as anyone, but this is the first time where I'm truly not sure if he has the answers. He's a good offensive mind and he's respected around the league for as much, but it's hard not to wonder if Steichen wasn't the one more responsible for last year. I don't know if our current coaches know what our players do well. It's a lot of throwing ish at the wall and hoping it sticks.

Collapse indicates not making the playoffs.

I would call it a collapse if the Eagles fail to beat the Bucs.

The Eagles were 10-1.  They they faced the 9ers.

If the Eagles beat the Bucs and lose to the 9ers,   that's how good the Eagles are.  Enough wins to get to the playoffs,  some irrelevant losses,  and not as good as the 9ers.

Instead of spending time planning on beating the Seahawks, Cardinals and (apparently) the Giants,   they've been preparing hard,  with new innovations, to beat the 9ers in the playoffs.      We'll see if that happens.   I've been defending the Eagles, the coaches,  more than most,  and I expect a win over the Bucs.  I will be pissed if the Eagles aren't giving us fresh new innovations against the 9ers.

Nah.  It’s a collapse.  If they somehow win next week then they might gradually pull themselves out of the collapse but this team, at this moment, is (without question) broken.

Except Stoutland & Clay.

What kind of monkey paw curse happened in the last year where were cool with Clay coming back

Back the truck up for Harbaugh.

Let him bring in his staff.

Run it back with Hurts for another season.

Hopefully hit on a marquee Defensive FA and a few early Defensive draft picks.

If Hurts regression continues, do what Eagles do and dupe another team via QB trade.

Giants: 24

Eagles: 21

Bonus: Barkley rushes for 150+

I never miss, so the second half should be fun :groovy:

This was the moment I knew he was a fraud. Just took a few more weeks to become official.

Recent collapses

2012: Andy was done, the Juan Castillo decision, Washburn and Babin.

2015: Chip Kelly locker room poison; Stafford, Murray, and Maxwell.

2020: Pederson had no OC, laundry list of injuries, no talent on offense. Wentz.

I just don't see the locker room cancer on this team. If anything, it seems like a lot of guys are biting their tongues. You can scapegoat Brian Johnson and Desai/Patricia, but can these players really take Sirianni seriously anymore? They like him sure, but really take him seriously as a captain leading the ship?

Harbaugh would be my guess.  Only issue there is finding a tier 1 offensive coordinator.

I’m not sure he’s all that good of a coach at this point, but it’s moot anyway since I seriously doubt he’s willing to let go of personnel control.

I’m 100% on board with Harbaugh

Time for QB1 to tell Nick and Brian to stfu and just call his own plays. Unless he too doesn't know how to beat a blitz.

Very possible.

He was in the conversation when they were 10-1 and it was the nonsense of him being a winner and willing the Eagles to the record. Then the s… hit the fan and now we see that he can’t will them over two bad teams.

He really wasn’t…just because some pre game show turds that are over the hill and don’t know what’s happening hyped up a game for more views by saying it doesn’t mean it’s reality.  He’s been average at best this year.

Probably the only playoff game in my life I've not been excited to watch.
