This is a coaching issue. The culture and locker room is broken. No easy way back from that. Lurie has to take care of business quickly and make a decision going forward if he wants a change

Some of the players are an issue as well, especially on defense.

That's a Howie issue.

Ok...there is hope but they need new coaches except for OL.

They need more than just coaches. They need philosophy changes and that starts at the very top. Will they humble themselves and make those types of changes?

On the back end of the defense... they have no talent AND its poorly coached.

Yup. It’s poorly coached and bad personnel. Blankenship is fine being a Marcus Epps if you have a CJGJ. They don’t have CJGJ. They have byard who was bad with vrabel this year before coming here. He’s just either declining or not very good this year. Brown is now out likelt for rest of the year. Bradberry has done this throughout his career, good one year then not so good the next. It’s why Carolina let him go and giants released him. And then without slay you have a bunch of young kids. That doesn’t include a LB unit where Cunningham is our best LB and he’s likely slightly below average in terms of the rest of the nfl.  Doesn’t help our DL/pass rush is non-existent.

Add that up and put it together with crappy coaching you get this garbage. They have a major personnel and coaching issue

Only thing left to root for now is a Cowboys exit in the playoffs! I want to at least see S.A. Smith troll the Cboys and their fanbase again.

There are a lot of teams in the NFL fielding a professional defense with bad personnel.

24-0 LOLOLOLO

I see Nick really had his team prepared today

Keep it up Nick, just a few more losses like this and you'll be back G-O-N-E

Would love to hear arguments from all the staunch Siri defenders right now...

Back the truck up for Harbaugh.

Let him bring in his staff.

Run it back with Hurts for another season.

Hopefully hit on a marquee Defensive FA and a few early Defensive draft picks.

If Hurts regression continues, do what Eagles do and dupe another team via QB trade.

Run that JAG QB1 out of town. Drive his u hual into the Delaware River

I've been as big a Sirianni fan as anyone, but this is the first time where I'm truly not sure if he has the answers. He's a good offensive mind and he's respected around the league for as much, but it's hard not to wonder if Steichen wasn't the one more responsible for last year. I don't know if our current coaches know what our players do well. It's a lot of throwing ish at the wall and hoping it sticks.

Is he though?

You need to learn to lose an argument with grace.  At what point did you believe the ‘talking heads’ that are nothing but week day hype and pre game hype machines that he was in the running for the best player in the league?

 And now the backpedal after realizing how the award is determined

He really wasn’t…just because some pre game show turds that are over the hill and don’t know what’s happening hyped up a game for more views by saying it doesn’t mean it’s reality.  He’s been average at best this year.

Oh I agree that he wasn’t MVP material, but he was in the running until the 49ers game.

I'm sure Lurie is happy, he gets to watch Quez get featured for the rest of the game.

Fingers crossed Eagles WC game is that one game streaming on Peacock 🤣

If you think he was playing at an MVP level at all this season then IDK what to say anymore.

1 more loss like this and the entire coaching staff (other than Stoutland) is likely gone.

Issues are still coaching & defensive roster.

Offensive roster is great, just awful coaching.

Defensive roster has some pieces but needs a rebuild, coaching & philosophy overhaul.

I never miss, so the second half should be fun :groovy:

Sucks for you I had them tied 24-24. Mariota is leading the comeback!

I guess my preseason prediction of 10-7 wasn’t crazy after all.

I’m 100% on board with Harbaugh

I don’t know if Harbaugh takes a job without personnel control, but maybe he just wants out of the college game.

Is it just coaching or did teams also take away the threat of him running forcing him back to Hurts who isn't great making decisions? I think it's both. He can be better with better coaching but he has very low situational awareness.

Both, clearly. I'm not sure how anyone could argue otherwise. But to say he's incapable of being an NFL QB is laughable and lazy

Yeah, where's the evidence Siri is a good offensive mind?  It appears Shane Steichen was the good offensive mind around here.

He truly wasn’t…it’s was the hype machine and nothing more.

This was the moment I knew he was a fraud. Just took a few more weeks to become official.

This ish always bothered the hell out of me. Be yourself but act like you’ve been there before

You can keep saying he's incapable of being an NFL QB. That was almost as good as your gem from the Niners loss when you said that game was 90% the fault of the offense.
