Johnson had really screwed the pooch, zero ability to adjust.

And both DCs suck.

But the biggest problem is the team got old quickly, especially the defrense.

It happens, it's the problem with patching with veterans instead of building with youth - but it's hard to blow up a team that should have won the SB on a fair field.

But next year, Kelce retires, Cox is gone, Slay, Bradyberry, Byard, Graham, Swiftr isn't worth paying real money, and so on. So Eagles could be a very young team if Howie is willing to eat $40-50M and not replace those veterans. Maybe trade Reddick if they bring in a 4-3 DC.

They are stuck with slay as it’s a major cap hit just to get rid of him and he missed a quarter of the season so don’t see someone trading much for him.

they got old because they’re not very good at drafting and developing defensive players. Say what you want about Dallas and niners, they built good portions of the defense and developed guys. The eagles routinely every other year trying to fix the defense cause of mediocre to bad defensive drafting and just investing in FA. Since 2016 there’s been 4 guys that basically lived up too or outproduced where they’ve been drafted. Jalen mills, Avonte maddox (and he’s always hurt), sweat and Carter. The rest have not lived up to where they’ve been drafted nor have they developed like they liked. TJ Edwards has developed better than most of their draft picks on defense and they let him go cause they didn’t want to pay him and didnt want invest that much at Lb

What are you doing Nick? You need to save Penny for the playoffs!!!!!!!

Probably the only playoff game in my life I've not been excited to watch.

Oh I agree that he wasn’t MVP material, but he was in the running until the 49ers game.

No man, that's just what the media wanted you to think. The media is always trying to put out a narrative and you fell for it. You were duped!!1!

Especially when you lose aj brown to injury, smith out, swift out. That offense is bad outside of oline.

Even the line got it handed to them in the first half

What do you think the line will be for next week?

And he’s so tough yelling at the walls in the tunnel than to their faces. Coward.

McKinney is better than Blanky & Brown combined

You reap what you sow.

Nick is low-life, knuckle dragging, blowhard

I'm glad the team quit on him, just goes to show how much of a fraud he truly is.

Bucs by -3. Only cause they looked inept against Carolina today.

My guess is a long one outside of Novacare calling for Nick’s job.

-6.5

I'd take Tampa all day unless its -9.5

As it should be.

You can keep saying he's incapable of being an NFL QB. That was almost as good as your gem from the Niners loss when you said that game was 90% the fault of the offense.

Looks like it wasn’t such a crazy comment now that they’re getting shut out is it? Or since week 1 saying the O can’t f the D by forcing them to play so much?  Or last year when it took them 9 weeks to figure out how to score in any quarter other than the 2nd?  lol bro, just give it up.  Smoke and mirrors.  Also here this should help you out.

Well, Tampa just curb stomped the Panthers 9-0 today, so probably double digits.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. 3-4 in Tampa's favor.

Nick needs to give a cocaine speech instead of a flower speech this week.

Pretty sad that I had essentially no expectations going into this game and they've somehow far underperformed my expectations. That's saying something.
