"The standard."

Biggest organizational problem right now is the $255M being paid for subpar QB play.  Chips on chips

For as few plays as Nolan Smith actually plays... he gets beat up a ton.

So try again kid.

Oh noes, you called me kid. There is no substance on earth I could conjure up to recover from that one.

He’s one of the few people at least trying right now.

I’m guessing all are precautionary

Siri brings nothing, they've had like 6 weeks and didn't fix or change anything, and collapsed historically.

Thats why I don't understand why people want to keep him

But ultimately he's just a symptom of the FO

Except Stoutland & Clay.

Fair enough.

It’s crazy how quickly I’ve gone from not thinking it’s remotely possible we fire Sirianni to thinking it’s more likely than not at this point.

The problem is it seems to be a bad crop of HC candidates this year. It’s Ben Johnson and who?

Harbaugh, Lincoln Riley are two who might be available.

Absolutely absurd statement.

Either Jalen Carter has a tight pec (or worse) or he did not care at all on that rush.

And somehow they keep slipping left.

If Harbaugh can make Kaep look serviceable, he may work wonders with this offense

It’s so bad that Jurgens is trying to gouge his own eyes out.

the changes they're making will be revealed in the 9ers game.

There are a lot of teams in the NFL fielding a professional defense with bad personnel.

That makes me feel better.

No. It’s not. He’s far underperforming his contract and has fallen off a cliff from last year. With new coaches next year, we’ll see if it was more them or more him.

The septic tank is backed up. Why we can’t flush any of these turds.

So many turds in rapid succession has overwhelmed the system.

He and dean may just be too small

Again, you won’t quote a whole quote.  Context and substance make up a conversation.  How many L’s can you take brother? Lol

He's ushered in the last two NFL defensive fads (Fangio and now McDaniel) and like you said, he's made something out of nothing on offense.

Why is Riley’s name even being brought up?  Did nobody watch USC this year?

I wouldn't fire Sirianni. It's easy to forget all the good he's done right now during this mess, but of course I'm concerned. I would bring in two new coordinators though. Nick not being able to call the offense makes him look really bad right now though.

I suspect more convos this week between lurie and howie about whether nick is the right guy going forward with this team. should be as they jus lost two teams that will be picking top 5 in the draft and you have vastly more talent then

Guessing howie viewed this team as a viable SB contender and wasted this year. Offensively i believe they were and should be way more consistent and better. Frankly i didn’t cause i think besides just poor coaching this defense is not very good personnel wise. Worse linebackers in the league, I’d argue bottom half of the league at safety (byard wasn’t good before that titans trade) and with 2 30 year old corners it was dumb to think they’d survive all 17 games healthy and young guys aren’t ready. I don’t think anyone could’ve predicted the pass rush becoming this bad even with less depth this year.

Im guessing sirianni survives this but don’t think it’s as much of a lock. Today felt like everyone either quit (wasn’t the case prior they just had crap defense) or saw certain guys were held out and everyone just went through the motions after seeing it wasn’t as important if those guys are being held out. If he survives, he’s coaching for his job in 2024. If he and the eagles start the year out rough I’m guessing he gets fired before the end of 2024.
