Should have had all out... now they're beat up as ever

Yup. I said it before the game. Dallas wasn’t losing to the commanders who’ve basically given up since the trade deadline. Especially with the no. 2 pick on the line. commanders got their ass handed to them. Playing well Bs. Giants wouldn’t have done crap. They’ve played this io and down style all season for 17 games. They are who they are at this point. Getting rest and being healthy was more beneficial then anything if they wanted any remote chance.

Lol. They sat Cox with no designation. They sat swift who made the trip and was on the sideline with an illness. So he’s sick enough to miss but you have him on the sidelines around other players. That’s just brilliant. They tried to play both sides of the fence. Have some in and some out and it blew up in their face.

You may be right…but once again, Kelce played.  Jason f’n Kelce played and it wasn’t like a couple years ago where he took a snap to maintain his streak and left.

I wouldn't be upset if Lurie got rid of Howie too.

A couple of bright spots were both Quez and Covey.

Quez finally looked like the receiver we all wanted him to be.  He was going up and getting the ball instead of waiting for it to come to him.  He looked "big” out there because he finely was playing big and physical.   Great to see.

Covery showed some that he’s capable of coming out of the slot.   Looked pretty good out there as well.

Covey absolutely deserves a shot at a bigger role on offense next year. He can be that white slot receiver I’ve always wanted ala Welker, Edelman, Renfrow, Amendola, etc.

Covey looked good.  He looks like a starting WR.

There’s no way you actually believe the trash you post

Thats a huge problem…

Wish my Dad was a billionaire.

Promise you it'd look better than this sheet show. Most of us on this Blog could build a more competent team and organization.

It's not foo king rocket science.

It's January, and they still sucked.

It's so incredibly obvious that the players have quit on the coaches, and Siriani quit on the team when he benched the starters in the first half with Dallas only up 14-10. You can't bring him back or any of his coaches (other than Stoutland) unless you want to be next year's Chargers.

People on here were begging him to pull players from this game.

Guys were dropping like flies in this game from Sydney to AJ to Cam to Blankenship.

They risked the starters with very little chance of reaping the rewards and they ultimately got what they deserved.

I don't think this team has quit so much as the flaws on both sides of the ball were exposed.

There are times when you have to just admit the clock has run out and reload, Howie did that in 2021, time to do it again in 2024.

Dump all the high priced veterans on defense, bring in hungry kids and an aggressive DC who won't play a bend/don't break defense, so what if they lose games by 20, spend the season clearing out dead money and developing kids, identifying the ones you'll keep going forward. And if the team progresses, you'll still make the playoffs. Same on offense, get an OC who'll steal from Shanahan and AR rather than running a college offense with limited options. Hurts wasn't the problem, it was Johnson.

Weird thing is this was the first good game Watkins had in two years.

No. In fact, I would be quite thrilled.

Like Brian Dawkins

He's part of the problem.

I don't think Howie gets a free pass this offseason.

Yep and they were stupid too. Same seed or not, this team needed to get a win and get back on track period. For those holding out hope that they are just going to flip a switch next week and turn it around after getting embarrassed by the Giants get real. The 2 seed was still up for the grabs when he pulled everyone too since Dallas was barely ahead.

Same. At least there would be interest next year.

He probably has something that’s nagging but doesn’t warrant being on the injury report. Hurts wasn’t always on the injury report but we knew the knee was bothering him. Some guys are just on fumes right now and probably have been since Buffalo.

I have absolutely zero issue with how Sirianni played this.

So other guys don’t have nagging injuries that would’ve needed time off like fletcher? Jordan savis isn’t dealing with a leg problem? Carter who missed a week? Cunningham dealing with a multi week injury. So fletcher Cox, slay and an ill swift (on the sideline around other players when he was too "sick” to play is brilliant) get the day off but aj brown likely dealing with some nagging injuries doesn’t? So we pick and choose and that doesn’t give off a bs message to them? Yeah i don’t believe that for a second

Congrats Nick annd eagles are going into a playoff game more banged up and in a worse spot cause bullcrap belief Washington might win when they had given up since week 11 has scored over 20 points 1 time and given up 27 points in every game. But we decided to pick and choose who we sat for this game and think players didn’t realize and notice that

Yeah...not buying it. The energy and effort is at all time low...I would be more forgiving if the team played hard, but this two weeks in a row with no effort.
