Oh that’s an issue too no doubt! But had they rested the starters at least we’d think well they are rested and healthier. Instead they lost 4 starters in a blow out loss.

And it wouldn't matter in the least.

First of all fire Patricia

And BJ and Sirianni. That’s a good starting point.

Swift could have had the 💩 s. Not contagious

He was LP Friday with illness. I’m guessing it is more than just poop. And i don’t see him sitting on the sidelines if his bowel movement was that big of an issue or making the trip to the game

It may not have but it was a different approach. No good was ever going to come of playing the starters. As bad as this team is we can also see that they are exhausted.

Could you imagine how this place would be if Sirianni benched everyone and somehow Washington won (like it did last year against Dallas) or like Arizona last week against us or Tennessee today vs Jacksonville?

Benching players would have been really dumb. You have to take the risk.

Clearly we won’t agree here.

Wrong.  What was "really dumb" was not benching players, getting a bunch of key guys injured, while Dallas won a blowout like everyone expected considering they were a 14 point favorite and Washington had given up on the season long ago.

So it's just a massive coincidence that he was one of the top 3 QB's in the league and soon as Steichen left the offense looks totally different and Hurts has regressed. People act like QB's are just good or bad when the fact is the situation they are in and coaching they receive is a huge factor in their success or lack there of. There isn't a single person involved with this team who isn't to blame, including Hurts, but the coaching is failing him and the entire offense.

Carson Wentz was a top 3 QB and looked totally different and regressed after Reich left.  crap happens.  He got 3 years of hopeful patience after that, never recaptured 2017, and they moved on because he wasn't worth the big contract anymore.

Honestly, Hurts is probably on the same exact track.  The cap hits will escalate, AJ Brown will slow down, he wont recapture 2022, and they'll start to look elsehwere.

Sounds nihilistic, but that's the NFL.

Looking forward to the "We're smarter than you" gamesmanship shtick all week when everyone and their mom knows Hurts is playing, but they're going to try to play it coy all week and pretend he might not play. One of the most annoying things this team does. There is no competitive advantage. It's just dumb people trying to make themselves feel smart. Nothing more.

I don't want Nick to go. Coordinators should be long gone.

I dont think he should. But I sure wouldnt be surprised if he did.

We cant keep switching coaches every few years, and hes a good enough one to keep around. We need stability there, and at the coordinator positions. Get 2 solid coordinators who arent looking to ascend, or arent hot candidates and develop continuity.

Good post.

They refused to rest key starters this week, so now they have to rest them next week.  Oh well.

You are conveniently leaving out the fact that Wentz had his knee destroyed and according to several later confirmed reports was a bad teammate who refused to take coaching from certain people. Apples to oranges.

Ok so PLAY EVERYONE. Don’t pick and choose what player you benched. You are all in or you not. The eagles were half in and half out. It’s why Cox, slay and swift didn’t play.  Meanwhile swift was so sick but thankfully he was on the sideline with the rest of the team. So more guys are gonna get sick. No offense they half assed it. If you want to make the argument commanders winning and benching guys looks bad then go ALL IN.  Don’t half ass it.

you don’t think guys see Cox practicing all week and then randomly sits and think why is he getting to sit when i have nagging injuries too? Yeah i could understand very much if they did.

I said he tried to thread the needle against a **** team. Not sure what else there is to say here.

I think Patricia is worse than Dasei

Yes we are.

If you were surprised then you weren't paying attention.

There's no point keeping this clown considering he doesn't scheme and run the offense.  if he lucks into another good OC, the OC will just get poached again ala Steichen and Siri's clueless @ss will be exposed again.

Not at all.  Revisionist history on a known failed Wentz experiment versus present, persistent optimism with Hurts.  Wentz was MUCH better in the encore to his breakout year than Hurts was in his.

I hope there are some major changes after the season ends next week

Has Desai been actually fired? If not apologize and get him back in there for Tampa because Patricia is a piece of crap

it will probably be the Saturday night peacock game

No. It’s 4/5 seed game that doesn’t determine hosting scheduling. It will be MNF or Sunday

What’s the most infuriating offensive tendency to you for this team?

For me, it’s absolutely the fact that they refuse to use the middle of the field.
