For me, it’s absolutely the fact that they refuse to use the middle of the field. 

Our crap ass screen game. It’s always been terrible but the TE screens to Goedert would pick up nice chunks. I can’t remember the last time we tried it.

I brought this up a couple weeks ago. You look at the passing numbers it’s pretty close to Dak’s numbers last year. Only difference if Dak missed a couple games so his would’ve likely been really close to hurts. But the way hurts has played has been similar to Dak in 2022. Moments and flashes of greatness. And then inconsistencies and turnovers.

His numbers this year are better from a production standpoint, but his rookie season from a ratings perspective are still his best thus far. His best years are 2016, 2021, and this year. I'll credit McC with getting his rythm fixed and helping him be a more confident QB, but having CeeDee as his go to guy helps alot there as well.

I'll credit McC for mis-managing the clock for DAL. 😁

What really sucks about this team is their 3 biggest investments are Jalen Hurts, the OL and the DL. Have any of them come close to living up to what the Eagles have invested in them? Those are supposed to be the strengths of the team. The Giants gave up over 80 sacks this year and the Eagles sacks today came from Kelee Ringo and Marlon Tuipulotu. The OL couldn't figure out the Giants defense at all and Hurts just looks like a shell of his former self.

Howie is taking heat for his off-season this year and rightfully so, but the fact that this team got to two Super Bowls with two total dolts as head coaches is a testament to incredible roster construction at times. Looking at Doug’s Jags collapse this year and post 2017 and Sirianni looking like he couldn’t tell his head from his ass this season, man. 

And their ability to build a good staff.
