The Eagles actually lucked out as the Packers are probably much better than the Bucs right now.  Too bad it probably won't matter at all because they are a bottom 3 team in the league at the moment.

Spent the day at disney world with the family and wasn't able to catch the game.  Checking in here before looking at the score online or anything.  How'd we do? Win by a tuddy or 2 against that garbage arse NY team? The boys looking recomposed and ready for the playoffs???

Take a few shots and go to bed.

Don't ruin your vacation on these bums.

NFL capitalizing on that large market SB team from last season and honestly the last several years. The Eagles are becoming more and more popular, really growing their fan base outside of the greater PHI area and the NFL wants all they can get.

By the way I've only seen people upset about the Syd Brown injury.

There's a silver lining.

They should now draft or sign a safety to compete, at the very least.  Or possibly even start the first few weeks of the season.

We shouldn't be going on to next season relying on Brown taking a step forward walking in to a starting position.  He is now an injury risk,  with a current injury that may not allow him to be ready in time for the start of the season.

This forces their hand in to a viable alternative.

Which even as one of the biggest Syd Brown pre-draft fans here,  I have to admit seems necessary at this point.

If Howie doesn’t use one of our two 2nd rounders on an Edge Cooper or Jaylon Ford he should be tarred and feathered.

In no particular order I'd be thrilled to see CB, S and LB all selected with the first 3 picks in the top 2 rounds.

Sign Toohill for affordable DE depth and draft DE in round 3.

Imagine the worst you can possibly conceive a game against the lowly Giants going in which they didn’t even need to play the starters.  Then make it about twice as bad.

As a Dallas fan, what's your feel with this year's team?

Do they have what it takes to get over the Niners hump?

Can't see them losing to GB, DET, or LAR.

This is also the third straight year Hurts has entered the playoffs hurt or banged up. Not really a good trend.

DE, LB and DB should be their picks in the first two rounds barring some crazy can't miss opportunity. I don't want to see an offense pick until the 3rd round even though I know the likelihood of them drafting an OT is probably high.

I don’t know what this year’s draft class looks like at QB, but I could see them going 1-4 with the teams currently in those spots

Granted that had nothing to do with today’s injury, but utilizing your QB as your big back tends to get you there.

I thought that was dumb to field the punt inside his 5, but …..

Holy crap. Game is tied up

Man, we all should have known when Sirianni or Lowie hired Patricia back in the spring that this season was set up to be a disaster.

No way 4 teams skip on Marvin Harrison Jr. And there aren’t four top-5 worthy QB’s coming out.

Going for it on 4th down when the team hasn't had an answer for a blitz all year has something to do with it though smh.

Unfortunately it seems like the offense was designed around getting them into 3rd/4th short just to use the tush push. Just adds more unnecessary wear and tear.

This is the draft to do it.

Dejean and Burke RD1 at CB

Abrams-Draine RD2 at CB

Trotter Jr. RD1 at LB

Edge Cooper or Jay Ford RD2  at LB

Kinchens RD1 at S

Bishop RD2  at S

It would be a travesty at this point to pick an offensive player before RD3

This didn't exactly help:

The Eagles had the most Monday night games of any team in NFL history with five, and I believe that doesn't even include the Christmas Day game with the Giants that essentially was a sixth Monday night game (the Eagles did actually play the Giants on normal rest, however).  Part of this was there were several more ESPN/ABC simulcasts that in the past, and with the exception of the three two-games Mondays all Monday night games were on ABC (including an ABC-only game Christmas night between the Ravens and 49ers) due to ripple effects from the Writers Guild and Screen Actors Guild strikes.  That could have played into why the Eagles had so many issues late in the season.

Better we lose and force the turnover honestly
