I'd definitely want to talk to him, assuming he wants to continue coaching. His defenses in Baltimore were good.

Not that anyone cares at this point, but expect Reddick and Sweat dropping into coverage, no changes against blitzes, and QB draws and bubble screens on critical drives next week(if there are even critical drives). Because the team that does the same thing over and over every week will continue to be the same team that does the same thing over and over next week.

No changes to the offensive mess. Ok got you well done Sirianni.

Fans - Yes

Lurie/Howie - No

The Houston Texans are getting new uniforms next year and of course Nike is going to screw it up. I underlined the most telling thing here and it's made me stop asking the Eagles to get new uniforms. The Texans are going to have FOUR uniforms and none of them will share anything stylistically. So basically, their uniforms are going to be anything but uniform. This is the same thing the Commanders did and IMO, it's a disaster. The Cardinals did something similar as well. They are making sure everyone gets what they want, so very 2024 of them. You can't have a visual identity if nothing matches.

Nike just messes everything up. If this is what they are doing then I'm fine with the Eagles as they are. I mean the Eagles essentially have 3 different uniforms (primary, KG, black) but at the very least the have a home and away look that we know is the Eagles. KG is their one off but the other 3 can all be mixed and matched because they share the same striping. I'd much rather prefer the KG to be the primary with a white version released but now I'm just happy we don't have Nike messing things up for us too.

  • The team will have four new uniforms.
  • "H-Town Blue” — i.e., the Oilers’ old shade of Columbia blue — will be an accent color, not a main color.
  • The team’s primary logo will not be changing.
  • The new uniforms will be unveiled during the lead-up to the draft in late April.

Now The Houston Chronicle has published an article that adds some additional pieces to the puzzle. The major revelation is that the four new uniforms will be very distinct, not just the same design in different colorways. The article quotes Doug Vosik, the team’s head of marketing and communications, in this passage:

Vosik added the four versions of the uniform will be completely different from each other and not simply a repeat in various colors. That would be a way to make sure everyone gets what they want. Before drawing up designs, the team set up a fan council, which provided feedback that varied from fans who wanted to keep the uniforms traditional to others who wanted a drastic change. Players also gave their input on what they’d like to wear starting next season.

Vosik thinks all corners of the fan bases will find what they’re looking for in at least one of the four new designs.

"We said, ‘OK, if you want timeless traditional, here’s the one uniform that answers that,’” he said. "If you want to take it one step further and say timeless traditional gets refreshed, we have one for that. If you said, ‘Hey, I’m into this bull thing, let’s get wild,’ we have one for that. And if someone said, ‘Hey, I want you to pay homage to H-Town Blue,’ and if the players are saying, ‘I want something tough, I want something mean,’ we’ve got something for that.”

I kind of get it because it does show a panic move for a playoff team...

But it's Fing needed

Patricia should have been fired last night. Don't care if they went back to Desai or let the Dline or DB coach be interim coach

Wink Martindale or Leslie Frazier would be great hires, and a needed change in philosophy

"We have faith in Quez Watkins. His speed opens up the field for everyone, blah blah blah"

To be fair, Quez actually caught the damn ball yesterday

Wink was good with the Ravens.

He blitzes a lot.

Yay, sack,  yay, sack,  oops TD.

I totally see Nick going down with the coordinators like Doug did

Martindale is an upgrade over what they have, but then again everyone is. I'd rather look elsewhere though. That's two stops Martindale has either fired of left in 3 seasons. So something with him isn't working.

Hopefully a new head coach will be the one making that choice.

Supposedly, Solak said if they were was an actual competitive game going on, Watkins would have been blown the hell up on his TD. But whoever the Giants defender is was playing at like 75% effort and didn't even care.

If we don’t beat Buccs he gotta go.

Don't criticize Jalen Hurts without saying it's not all him. Everyone walking on eggshells saying anything negative about him. It's OK to say a QB has played bad.

I missed that tackle attempt by Roby because I quit watching after only half watching this sorry arse team.

That's extremely dumb, even for Solak.

Let's take a guess as to what Hurts did on this play with pressure. Notice Oz wide open and Goedert seemingly wide open, though he did cut towards the sideline.

Apparently Martindale and Daboll didn't get along. Daboll announced this morning that Martindale was coming back, and Wink wanted to be fired and paid out. Daboll announced it to the media before talking to Martindale about it...which is idiotic. So Martindale resigned. Wow.

Extremely annoying that Quez *finally* shows up when it doesn't matter anymore.  If the guy showed up when it matters we would have won the SB last year.
