When the edible hits

Wtf does this idiot do when he's staying up all night at Novacare. Like any numbnuts Madden player could trot out what the Eagles have been the last month. Go to bed.

Do you need me to explain it to you? The Giants were quite clearly trying to win that game and playing hard. Therefore, stupid comment by a guy who is full of crap most of the time.

Hurts needs to get the ball out....blame the coaches. Is this on the coaches or is it a QB who can't throw the ball under pressure?

Sure. Tell me how hard Belton is trying on the play

It was 24-3 in the 4th Quarter of the last game of the season. You think players don't take their foot off the gas this late in garbage time?

I think the defensive collapse actually starts in the middle. We knew S and LB were going to be an issue and then Avonte got hurt. Scheme has DBs playing off which just begs teams for quick passes over the middle.

negates our pass rush AND our tackling is weak, PLUS Bradberry seems to have lost another step and voila! A defense that can’t stop anybody!

Zero safety, press coverage, 4 down lineman. Don't do even one F*****ING thing creative.  Just rush 4 and drop the rest back in TIGHT box coverage.  Clog the field and MAKE THEM go long.  F man it is just simple football.  We SUCK in the middle.  We SUCK with these disguised blitzes.  The only blitz should be right at the A gap. F*****************, I AM SO PISSED OFF.

Yep. He's every bit part of the problem

Lawrence got a full pass for his rookie season due to the Urban Meyer debacle. Last year he wins a bad division, then stages a massive comeback against the Chargers after almost throwing the game away in the 1st half. Then he regresses badly this year and loses to a bad team with the playoffs on the line.

It's like he skipped Wentz's 2017-2019 and jumped right to his year in Indy.

Urban was really bad, I’m actually surprised he recovered as fast as he did. I thought he’d be better in year 3. likely when he completely flourished. He didn’t this year. I feel like there’s more going on down there. He’s not progressed and frankly i think Doug and press are who they are. i don’t think Doug is ever going to be as good as he was in 2017 and i don’t think he’s going to be as bad as 2020. He’s basically shown the other 5 years to be slightly above average. He’s gone 7-9, 9-7, 9-7, 9-8, 9-8. I tend to think Doug isn’t going to maximize whatever Lawrence is going to be. Doug really didn’t do that with wentz besides 2017.

Lol, dude had a bad play, blaming it on effort under the pretense that the Giants weren't trying during the  game is a lazy, stupid, and incorrect take to anyone who watched the game. Sorry to offend you though Ben.

Let's take a guess as to what Hurts did on this play with pressure. Notice Oz wide open and Goedert seemingly wide open, though he did cut towards the sideline.

Don't know if it was this play or another but OZ was actually open twice in a play. One for like 10 yards and then another for a deep play

I missed that tackle attempt by Roby because I quit watching after only half watching this sorry arse team.

That's the same hit stick attempt that bounced off Brock Purdy

"bad play" lol sure. He didn't even try to hit him. Because it was, wait for it, garbage time, where you always see stuff like that happen.

I WATCHED him hold the ball on on outlet pass that would have gotten more yards but he waited. Don't wait. Hit the outlet.

But they have to give him some outlets, too.

Once more, here is an idea.  Hit an RB or Goedert or AJ with a slant or forward screen. OMG how hard can this be?

Ridley, Kirk, Engram -- he's not working with nothing. He also doesn't add near the running dimension but somehow fumbles more. It's fair to say Hurts has been better than him each of the last 3 years. And Hurts was pick 53, not the most hyped QB since Luck and the number 1 overall pick.

@Wentz_Eraand I tried telling people while he was still in college that he's actually not very good.

No one really wanted to listen.

Martindale fired/quit, hire him now.

To the Reed Blankenship question

Who's the last player not named Kelce or Mailata that the Eagles have drafted and they've actually become a diamond in the rough or steadily improved each year? It doesn't happen with this team. They don't find hidden gems, they find UDFA JAGS.

Today lol, at least he knows how to blitz

Probably also didn’t want to get fined cause the nfl would probably do it if he lit him up with how the league is

Penny is no longer a mystery after yesterday.  The dude flat out can’t block.   As in - worst ever at it bad.

It was a ruse to keep the juggernaut Bucs guessing come game time.

A. So you and Solak are mind readers and can see into the dude's brain as to what his intent was. Cool story bro.

B. He was implying the Giants weren't trying in a meaningless game which again was total BS, and the main point I was making that seems to be flying over your head.

Wink Martindale or Leslie Frazier would be great hires, and a needed change in philosophy

They should at least interview both.

Don't criticize Jalen Hurts without saying it's not all him. Everyone walking on eggshells saying anything negative about him. It's OK to say a QB has played bad.

Like Wentz, I'm getting the feeling he needs hard coaching to maintain performance and not regress to his college games.   I hope the Eagles as org learned from that season and can ride the waves more smoothly this time around.

Perhaps losing Kelce, Graham and Cox will allow some of the young players to grow into leadership roles too and  change the team dynamic a bit

You forgot:

C. That's racist.
