Oh the eagles managed to take 2018-2020 eagles and put all into one year. Like the fast forwarded 3 years into one season.

Even sprinkled in some weird WR media stuff.

And the Alshon Jeffery stuff with Josina.

I didn't really want to jump in on this but I'm curious if you're able to admit that Hurts has regressed this year

Narrator: "He can’t.”

I don't disagree with anything else you said. That's a different discussion, one we have all had on here. There are issues all over this team. I'm simply stating that saying Hurts has been a problem, which he has been, is not hate.

And my initial statement that you quoted is not hate either. Simply stating that it seems like you aren't allowed to say something negative about him.

You said he's a big reason as to why the team is the worst in the league right now.  That is false.  That is the defense just completely bottoming out.  Hurts has had too many turnovers this year.  That's a valid criticism but he has also had the most touchdowns in franchise history in a single season.  He still took this team to 11 wins despite how the defense was unable to hold a lead all season.  The "big reasons" as to why this team is now as bad as it is right now do not include Jalen Hurts.  His turnovers are a reason why they aren't as good as last year but Jalen Hurts this season is not a "big reason" as to why they are as bad as they are right now heading into the playoffs.  That's fully on Sirianni and the defense and inability of Brian Johnson as a play caller.

Literally feels like 2023 is just the 3 years after the Super Bowl win but fast forward into one season.

"Marge, turn off the TV."

Doug is in a division that should have been won by default.  The Jaguars committed an epic bed crapping this season and Doug should be firmly on the hot seat next season

Hurts as a passer has 23 TDs. Tied for 13th in the league. 13th in the league with AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. Yes, he has 14 TDs on the ground but 12 of those are from 3 yards and the tush push. Carson Wentz was equally as good at the QB sneak and it's been proven that Jason Kelce is the driving force in the success of the tush push. I'm not discrediting those TDs but I'm looking at what Hurts is doing as a QB throwing the ball.

I don' think Dak Prescott is better than Hurts. There's no reason Dak should have 36 TDs compared to Hurts 23. Is that on play calling? Is it on Hurts not seeing open receivers? CeeDee Lamb is good, damn good so 12 TDs doesn't surprise me. Brandin Cooks should not have more TDs than AJ Brown or DeVonta Smith. Jake Ferguson should not have twice as many TDs as Dallas Goedert. With these weapons, Hurts should be at the top of the list with TDs.

I think @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! posted Hurts stats the last 8 games and it goes hand in hand with the decline of the team. His numbers in those games are not good. Hurts is part of the reason they aren't good right now.

I definitely disagree with this. Also I don't think you can say Kelce alone is the driving force. It's a pretty collaborative effort from the Oline and Hurts

Simply as a passer not including his running:

First 8 games: 68.9%, 261 passing yards per game, 15 tds and 8 ints (3 fumbles lost)

Last 9 games: 61%, 188.9 passing yards per game, 8 tds and 7 ints. (2 fumbles lost)

Can i say something bold? I kind of think Dallas goedert is overrated by eagles fans. I get smith and brown are gonna get a bulk of the targets but eagles fans think he’s still a definitively a top 5 tight end in the league. He’s not. Kittle and kelce are still ahead of him. I’d have mark andrews when healthy ahead of him. he’s been surpassed by guys like Laporta and hockenson. Engram had a really good year for the jags. Better than any year goedert has had. Put up 114 receptions, 953 yards and 4 tds. I think McBride and Kincaid are gonna surpass him with time and closer than we think. McBridedidn’t start til like week 6 and he was fantastic for the cardinals who had dobbs and tune throwing to him for more than half the year. Mcbride’s 2023 is nearly identical to goedert’s best season as a pro and he didn’t start until like week 6 and had a far worse Qb situation until week 10

I've been saying Goedert is overrated for years now and no one wanted to admit it. I suggested trading him instead of Ertz based on the TE deals and what top tight end trades were bringing back. I was comparing him to Hayden Hurst and what he brought back. He's guaranteed to miss games every year. His highest TD output is 5 TDs. He averages 600 yards a year. DG and his bestie Avonte Maddox are two of the most overrated players on the team.

You just said that you disagreed that Wentz was not as good as Hurts and Kelce is not the driving factor. I was providing proof that Wentz was just as good and Kelce is the glue that keeps it together.

That wasn't proof. That was just Baldy's take

But the numbers don't lie. 36 of 38. Wentz was good at it.

His biggest problem is he can’t stay healthy. I expect he’s not gonna put up kelce numbers cause he won’t get that type of targets and he’s just not as talented. But he constantly misses 3-5 weeks every year. Eagles can’t afford to take a tight end high in the draft due to other needs but I’d love if they could pull a rabbit out of their hat like ravens did with Isaiah likely in the late 4th.

Doug fired a coordinator!

Damn. He fired the whole staff.
