I wish the eagles would go after Darnell savage. He’s 26 and i think he still hasn’t reached his full potential. But he’s likely too costly too

I liked Savage during the draft process, can’t say I followed his career. He went a bit earlier than I expected, but he did have that free safety / slot corner versatility that we lost with the CGJ departure.

Was pretty good in 2020. Not as good the following two years. Doesn’t have the ints this year but he’s playing better than his previous two years. One of the reasons i like him is you get that versatility. Plus i think he pairs better with Blankenship and not sure what brown is after his injury.

Sydney has the athleticism to do those things, but he’s a shark in the water developmentally (and dinged).

Shark in the water?   More like a battering ram without a steering wheel.   He seems to fly around aimlessly.   Maybe that's due to the coaching being all over the place, or maybe he's just not sure at all what he's doing.  Sitting on the sidelines watching with this injury might be the best thing for him long term.   He needs to slow down.

scouting reports did not mention his tackling being this bad. something weird happened with all of our players this year on defense.

He had known tackling issues in college too, it wasn't a secret. There's some quality safety free agent safeties. Hopefully we can land one.

I could see both Rams and Packers winning and the Eagles winding up with a home divisional round game anyway.

I would just be happy if the rams and packers win. No need for the eagles to further embarrass themselves.

Are the Packers decent again - I’ve only seen the low ebb games.

It’s going to be -40 where I am on Saturday; I encourage them to come join.

I remember reading that his tackling was bad because he played too fast and would often try to lay a big hit instead of wrap up.

The third leg of your little parlay there involves the Eagles winning.

But only one of them is trusted enough to be regularly dropped back into coverage.

It's gonna be -32 here. It's gonna suck.

We were 30th this year in points allowed. That is the first time the Philadelphia eagles have ever been in the 30’s in that category. This arguably the worst defensive performance in team history, relative to the rest of the league
