I don't see Johnson getting better either. He just had an extra week for this game and that's what he came up with? It's bad

I'm losing hope for him. His playcalling ability isn't improving as the season progresses and he's getting bailed out by the talent on offense constantly. Situationally it's AWFUL. WR screen, WR screen, QB Draw after the turnover in the 4th was fire worthy.

Beat the Cowboys, Dolphins and Chiefs. Those are all top 10 teams in DVOA. All have 7 wins. We were the better team in 2 of those 3 (we weren't tonight).

Only reasons we aren't the better team is because of Brian Johnson and because of Bradberry honestly. We had basically no game plan offensively, it felt like. Just utterly horrible.

We just beat the Superbowl champs. Probably the best team in the AFC. At their home stadium. Coming off their bye. Against the greatest coach of all time coming off of a bye. Without Goedert. To go 9-1, best record in the NFL.

And yet I still feel like crap about this game and team.

Im pretty sure the players share the same feelings

Covey with 18 per punt return.

Game ball!!!

We all said that they can't keep winning like this. That the really good teams will make them pay...

We were wrong

Guess I'm the only one that witnessed the OL getting manhandled and missing assignments. Lose in the trenches you lose everywhere else.

Get out of here with your positivity.

Eagles OL got destroyed. I didn't even see that coming. First time Ive seen them dominated like that in a long time. Hard to execute anything in those circumstances

Yeh I just don’t get the Eagles offense. They run a lot of the same plays multiple times. That will get you in trouble in todays NFL. It seems to work, it just puts unneeded pressure on the defense. Great win guys. The Eagles just won in one of the most difficult places to play against a good team.

They're fine there.

Ive been saying, and Im correct- the Bills will be the thoughest game. We match up well with the chiefs. They had no WRs at all to try to exploit our secondary. The Bills have the weapons to make us suffer.

This was not the toughest game.

BUT we will be beat SF. We will beat Dallas. If we only have 1 loss in this 7 game stretch, thats incredible.

I think Allen is the king of QB that we will harass all night.

We should beat them soundly.

Purdy actually gets rid of the ball quickly, our kryptonite. Although they’re vulnerable on the interior OL.

F it….we’re winning both.

It wasn't even that shaky.  Only 14 points on them in the first half.

Defense finally created turnovers. Two in the red zone were massive. Both happened with the play starting at the 14 yard line. I feel like roob with that stat.

Buffalo in Philly. We’re gonna beat the living piss out of them

I have no reason to believe this, but I think that could be our first complete game of the season.

there was that one cardinals game last year with the putrid offense. it feels like theres a lot of cardinals games this year. But we are finding ways to win. Which I like.

Jalen Hurts, "We found a way, not sure how or what to say…”.

Gotta love his honesty.

Right. He knows what happened, he said it. Offense has to play better. They have time, but they have to play better. Need more creativity I think. Frankly, as crazy as this sounds, I'd consider a fullback until Goedert is back.

F Mahomes, F Travis, F Pacheco, and hopefully I’ll F Taylor Swift in my dreams tonight.

Said it during the game….he doesn’t break them for TD’s, but he has a knack for sneaky good returns in critical moments.

Nope.  It was the play calling.  Never has anything to do with what the players do.

They were a hair away from losing to the Bears this weekend. I wouldn't anoint them yet.

I mean we were less than a hair from losing to Washington twice.  As 2023 Eagles fans, we can’t exactly bash a team with a great record for almost losing to a bad team.

I still think Detroit is the 4th best team in the NFC.  I just don’t trust their competition.

The scoreboard says otherwise.

Flippant response, I know, and I get what you’re saying, but in all seriousness I think people put way too little importance on mistakes.

If you make mistakes in key moments, like drops and turnovers in the red zone, and it costs you the game, you didn’t actually outplay the opposition.

Mahomes under throwing a ball in the end zone which leads to an INT is very poor performance. Ertz allowing a defender to punch the ball out of his hands in the red zone is poor performance. Dropping a ball on the end zone for the would be game winning TD is poor play.

We outplayed them, regardless of the meaningless yard differential,

Our defense kept us in the game and overall, played great - basically got us the win.

- That’s something to feel good about.

Our play calling was abysmal.
- That’s  something to be concerned about.

Now imagine we get great play calling with great execution and our defense comes though like they did tonight?  We would be unstoppable.

-  That’s something to feel great about

I don’t see how Detroit loses another game.  And I’m not high on Detroit either.   I don’t think they can hang with SF or Dallas at all.  But I’m just not sure how they are going to lose with that schedule (and I bet Dallas is eliminated from the division race by the time they play Detroit and goes out of their way not to help us with HFA).

They will lose one or two…if only because they aren’t used to this level yet.

I like the finding a way to win too. It basically means if Johnson can even become an average play-caller by the end of the season, our team could be extremely dangerous. It also means we're going through tons and TONS of adversity to harden the team.

There should be a Surgeon General Warning at the beginning of every Eagles game.
