Then I take my son to his first ever game (he really started liking the Eagles this year) and they lost in humiliating fashion to AZ. I'll never forget the look on his face at the end of that game.

This years team has taken more out of me as a fan than any season I can remember. 

I'm done with them. I do not want them to win this week. And not really sure if I ever bring myself to invest the same again.

Sucks you and your kid had to experience that on the one game you went to. It's kind of a rite of passage for Philly sports though.

It would be franchise crippling to pass on Williams and extend Fields, but...it's the Bears, so that's definitely happening.

i look at the situation, if I’m drafting Caleb Williams then i want the best possible offensive coaches around him to develop and bring him along. Eberflus isn’t that. Great defensive mind but not so much on offense. So eberflus got fields for 2 years and fields has made minimal progress. So I’m not sure what confidence the bears have that if they draft Williams that eberflus is gonna maximize him cause they didn’t with fields. It’s why i think they stay fields and use the no. 1 to stockpile picks and just hope giving fields more help works out. Have a feeling it winds up putting them in a giants/Daniel jones situation

Linc and citizens doesn’t get their stuff from the same embroider as fanatics. They also have stuff that doesn’t go on fanatics. Particularly the Phillies. They have a bunch of phillie phanatic stuff you can only get through the CBP team shop

im talking about team shop at the stadium. They use different embroiders. It was funny i talked to the head manager of the eagles team shops. She was like just email me and I’ll give you a military discount when you buy purchase as that is the reason you got moved out to Az years ago.

If Fields showed massive improvement next year...he'd be Daniel Jones in 2022. I really don't get the media/fan fascination with him. He's just not a good QB.

2021 setting up to be an epic QB bust class at this point. Wilson, Lance and Jones are certified busts, Fields is a bust but no one wants to admit it, and Lawrence is regressing and headed that way.

It up to Lurie to not dictate our style of offense to the coaches, then it's up to the offensive coaches to implement the run game. We did it against Tampa earlier this year and it worked.
Major philosophical changes need to be updated and tweaked. Starting with the run game, view of linebackers, safeties and the secondary. Hopefully they don't push another Fangio style coordinator into a job here either.

Most generic retailers are all supplied by Fanatics as well. It's been the case for at least the lost 18 months. I'd say it would be the same deal at the Pro-shop at the stadium now as well

The issue with me is that he hasn’t improved as a passer and he had good weapons this year. His completion percent every year is high 50s or around 60-61. He is the same passer he came into the league as after 3 years. At some point he is what he is. This isn’t like hurts who made a jump in year 3 (second as a fully time starter) or lamar in year two making a jump from 58% completion to 66%. Add to that he never stays healthy. So i have that on top of it.

imo think fields is likely a solid Qb but you aren’t winning a SB with him. He’s gonna be the Qb that’s gets you fired as you think you can get him to make the jump but he just never does.

Pro shop online is different than the team shop at the linc. It’s why the linc got the kelly green elite (authentic) jerseys and the eagles pro shop online and fanatics didn’t. I collect jerseys. I’m telling you right now cause i talked to be head of merchandise and team shop. The eagles authentics/elites jerseys you get from the team shop are not made by Fanatics. Nor are the customized jerseys you get from the team shop at the linc. Shirts and hats possible as they are fanatic branded shirt. They also go through new era and a bunch of companies for specific brands.

They have their own embroiderer for jerseys it’s why their jerseys don’t have he issues that the ones from fanatics do.

the authentic Kelly greens were only available through the team shop at the linc and not fanatics/pro shop online. They have stuff from fanatics, Nike, new era and bunch of others. But the embroidered stuff they don’t go through fanatics. It’s why i stopped going through fanatics for authentic jerseys. Cause their quality is better and they don’t F up colors/names. But when ordering you have to go into the store or call them on the phone. I don’t use the online. I physically call and place the order.

I’d also point out if you get a customized authentic or just an elite/authentic jersey from the team shop at the linc, you are going to get a kiss cut jersey every time. Whereas if you go through Fanatics or pro shop online or nfl shop also if you get a customized authentic or just an elite/authentic jersey you’re not getting that kiss cut. It’s going to be a lesser quality stitch. The best way I can explain a kiss cut is that it is identical to the number stitching lettering they use on game worn jerseys. The ones Fanatics, nfl shop and the pro shops use is just regular resell authentic Stitch. it’s a major difference. I would tell you if you’re going to order a authentic/elite jersey call into the team shop at the linc because you’re going to get as close as possible to what a game warm jersey would be. Fanatics and their associated sites online are not like that due to their embroider they use now

Great teams get poached every year. That's why it's likely not a good idea to have the OC calling the plays as it'll likely change each year with the new OC

If fields showed more i think eberflus is fine. But he hasn’t. So if I’m bringing in another Qb i want an offensive minded coach like rams did with mcvay, eagles did with Doug/wentz. Unless eberflus gets a really great OC then you are banking on a defensive coach to maximize Williams. I’m not spending the no. 1 overall pick and hoping eberflus can develop Williams better than fields. That’s way too much of a risk even if he’s a good defensive mind

I get what you're saying, constant turnover is not good, especially for Jalen in this situation. However I think it would be a positive to bring in a veteran OC/QB coach to challenge Hurts, since he's obviously not getting it from this coaching staff.
