7 open Head Coaching jobs now is probably the biggest reason why Sirianni stays. They would be getting into the search late and behind all the others.

And we are still waiting to hear on New England.

Off the top of my head, this list is all players in the last 10 or so years that Howie has extended before their pre-existing contracts expired.  I may be missing someone, but can't think of one.

Some wins and some losses there.  But my takeaway was to let players play out their deals.

Howie has been known to give out contracts early to get a "deal"

We'll be behind the others looking for new coordinators too.

If Belichick is let go in New England, that makes 8 openings. 3 of them will be filled by Vrabel, Belichick and let's assume Harbaugh. So that leaves 5 open positions. Let's say Dan Quinn and Ben Johnson are locks to get jobs. 3 openings left, and Carolina is the least desirable job.

It's Brian's to lose!

The eagles will be eliminated next week

I've told this story 1000 times now but leaving the San Fran game in 2006 was brutal.  Several of our fans cars had their windows smashed in.  While walking with two fellow posters who were in their late 50s I had one guy bum rush me while swinging an empty bottle of vodka at my head.

Take the L, don't take it out on the other fans.

Lots of animosity out there between Dodgers and Giants fans it seems every year...guy got stabbed and died a few years ago. There have been fights outside of AT&T more frequently than I can ever remember in the last few years also.

Not to go on some long diatribe but I really believe social media and the internet has desensitized a lot of people who wouldn't normally be so bold as to say and do a lot of what we see in society nowdays that hurts others.

Yea, but that should be easier to fill. We'll see. I still think they don't move on from Johnson.

I am praying they fire Patricia.

But have we gotten deals?  Or have the players...

The negative for us of the Carroll news is that, assuming Quinn takes the HC job in Seattle, Al Harris likely becomes the DC in Dallas and isn't available for us. But I'd prefer Frazier or Martindale anyway.

Mailata is a well below market contract. Sweat is as well (at least until this year). Goedert probably a fair contract. That's the 2018 class.

I was at that game. SF fans are awful.

I was in the end zone that Patterson picked up the ball and ran 99 yards in the other direction.

My rooting schedule for Wild Card weekend:

Texans over Browns - Texans are on the upswing and should be fun to watch next year. Big Tank Dell fan.

Dolphins over the "Chefs" - F the Chiefs and Swifties.

Bills over Steelers- can't even believe the Steelers are in.

Go Pack Go over the Cowgirls - F Dallas. That's why.

Rams over Lions - I want to see Stafford take his revenge in DET. Plus one of my business partners is a DET fan AND a Michigan fan. She's not allowed to feel this good when I'm miserable.

Eagles over Bucs - as bad as they've played, I do feel the guys will step it up one notch to be mediocre enough to send Baker home.

I am with you on all of these except...DAL over GB...go figure 😁

What they need to do is fire BB the GM and keep BB the coach.  As a coach, he's still one of the bests.  As a GM, he's not very good at all.

I really like the Browns.  That's a fun, scrappy, tough team.

What is going on, it's Black Tuesday and Wednesday now.  Well Pete finally out as coach of Seahawks.  Finishes career perfect against the Eagles.

They are fun to watch for sure...I am just really behind DeMeco Ryans and what he has done in less than a year, and Stroud, what a heck of a year he's having...

I am convinced that not only will the Eagles win, they will look good too. And that the Pack will win too. And the Rammies.  Total chaos.  Love it.*

*I am coasting on residual THC from last night's gummies.

Glad he is gone.  Been kicking us in the balls his whole NFL career.

If this happens the niners would have the easier path to a Super Bowl than any recent team. Would be hilarious if they managed to then blow it.
