Harris will follow Quinn or get promoted to DC in DAL…unless DAL goes after Wink,  DLine/Asst Coach Weaver at Baltimore, or Whitt Jr who is a long time Asst with McCarthy for DC.
Weaver is getting a lot of interest as DC for the work he’s done at Baltimore.

Why follow Quinn if he can get his own DC job? Coaches follow coaches when they don't have their own opportunities

Quinn will be a HC next year, Harris likely will have the opportunity to be his DC.

Horrible. I’m playing DFS and that cost me a lot of money too.

Honestly, no more young coaches. I think the young coach trend can't work in Philadelphia. People simply are not willing to roll with the inexperience - so you need a McVay, Shanahan, or McDaniel (Dolphins) level hire, and those guys just don't grow on trees.

Better to get someone who's mid career with enough cards in their pocket to adapt and adjust - most of the young guys don't do that very well.

Ben Johnson is going to be 38 in May.  McDaniels was 38 when the Dilphins hired him.  Been coaching for 13 years.

Whose the next Bama coach?

Betting odds are saying:

Dan Lanning

Lane Kiffin

Deion Sanders

Sarkisian and Dabo were also mentioned as possibilities.

I hope it's not Lanning.  Seems like he has something and they're going to the Big 10.  Would absolutely suck to lose another coach after Taggert left for FSU and Cristobal left for Miami.

Good points.

Lanning is the odds on favorite at the moment.

Kiffin seems more logical.

Random stat of the day:

Drew Brees had a losing record after starting at least 10 games in a season a total of 6 times in his career. That is more than Eli Manning.

Nick Sirianni.

Belicheck will likely go to an NFCSouth team, but it would be hilarious to go from the energy of Nick to Bill.

Jared Mayo being potentially available as a DC is exciting.

My guess is Belichick will take full authority over roster talent. And he’s not getting anything close to first one here. If I were him I’d also avoid places with young, unproven QBs as IMO Mac Jones got him fired (his D the last 3 years had been awesome)

Chargers is ideal fit IMO. But then, he’s going to a division with Reid and Payton. I also like Arizona if Gannon gets a surprise pink slip

You don't think he's the heir apparent in NE for the HC job?

Mike Vrabel.

It's going to be Lanning.

Lanning made a lot of noise about how he is a Duck and ain't going anywhere.  But Alabama is Alabama.  However, without Saban, they lose the mystique of being an NFL funnel.

The Belichick Era Is Over.

Any team shouldn't want Bill to have full say over roster.  He isn't good at it.

There would be no reason to. As it stands, right now, it isn't crazy to talk about him possibly being gone. This team just suffered one of the worst collapses in league history and is probably about to get trounced in the playoffs after playing like crap all year.

If they go on a miracle run he obviously stays, and I don't think anyone would care at that point

For me, going on a playoff run shouldn't lean too heavily on firing someone, presuming the Eagles are as broken internally as has been assumed by some.  If the culture is toxic, it's needs to change now, so retaining the HC for one more run seems counter intuitive.

It's likely the drive will be doing what the Jags have done and letting a whole bunch of coaches go and being in a position to hire from a larger talent pool than they could after the SB

So, Dallas Goedert really went public....twice....and told us that the team just kind of coasted the last month of the season?

Surprised this isn't getting more attention.

What a train wreck.
