So, Dallas Goedert really went public....twice....and told us that the team just kind of coasted the last month of the season?

Surprised this isn't getting more attention.

Because we watched the games.

International game news:

The Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings will play in London in 2024 as part of the NFL's International Series.

They will join the Jacksonville Jaguars as the 'home' teams for next season's three games in the English capital.

The Jags had already committed to play at Wembley, so the Bears and Vikings will host the two games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Carolina Panthers will be the 'home' team when the NFL returns to Munich, Germany, in 2024.

The NFL has confirmed it will also play a regular season game in South America for the first time in 2024 - at Sao Paulo's Corinthians Arena in Brazil.

The 'home' team for that game will be named in the coming months, before the announcement of the 2024 NFL schedule.

The opposing teams, along with the dates and kick-off times for the other international games, will be announced when the schedule is revealed.

Am I reading this right? It's a playoff game and the Eagles are just now starting practice on Thursday?

Yes, that's normal.

Is it? Whatever happened to the whole "see you Wednesday" slogan after a big win? Have practice rules changed that much?

Sarkisian and Dabo were also mentioned as possibilities.

I hope it's not Lanning.  Seems like he has something and they're going to the Big 10.  Would absolutely suck to lose another coach after Taggert left for FSU and Cristobal left for Miami.

Sark is under contract at Texas through '26

They are playing on Monday

I know. Just seems to me you'd want to be on the field ASAP after a humiliating loss and preparing for a playoff game. I'm sure I'm overreacting in my old school ways but if it's normal it's normal.

What a train wreck.

I think that a lot of people have just lost interest in the Eagles and need an offseason reset.  We know what's coming on Monday... and want to see the changes in the coaching staff that we feel are necessary.    So, maybe just like the team, we have grown bored too and frankly aren't expecting a magical change to this team's blasé attitude.

They suck, they don't care and frankly, most of us are tired of watching it.

For all the "Why do they like Gainwell over Penny?” people:

Penny is just holding back and saving himself for the playoffs.

It's kind of early for the best news of the offseason.

Who else is expecting a marriage announcement soon given that both Belichcick and Saban are retiring.

Lanning made a lot of noise about how he is a Duck and ain't going anywhere.  But Alabama is Alabama.  However, without Saban, they lose the mystique of being an NFL funnel.

Problem for Lanning or anyone for that matter is following a legend.

Being the HC at Bama after all that Saban has done there is difficult.   Big shoes to fill.

I wouldn't want to be the guy directly following Saban.

I am not as worried about the players as I am about the coaches.  Let's hope they actually plan to do something different.

You got a lot of EMB members to root for Dallas over the Lions a couple of weeks ago.

Yes but this is college football.

I'm sure there is a crazy amount of money Bama would have to pay to buyout his contract if they really wanted him.

Doubt it happens but he is listed as a candidate.

That would be amazing if Carolina hires him.

Probably because the game is on Monday.  Plus the team is gassed.

No one hates the Eagles quite like Eagles fans, but there is a line we won't cross.

Wrong.

The consensus in the Dallas v Detroit game was to pick Dallas.

The Eagles fans Gladly picked the Cowboys.

Eagles fans do NOT have that morality or whatever that you say.

True true, and Bama has plenty of $, I think Sark’s contract total was 36m, so yeh, they could buy it out and still pay him big $ and possibly be getting out for what they were paying Saban.

Texas does have deep pockets though and I think they would do what it takes to keep Sark. He’s made them relevant again and has some great recruiting classes just now coming up.

The number 9 overall recruit (wr) decommitted yesterday from Bama after the Saban news and has said he wants to visit Texas. Texas already signed Wingo so that would be phenomenal if Texas can get him too.

Nobody fears Sark or Kiffin 🤣🤣

I don’t want Lanning to go there other than that lol

That's for a SUNDAY game.   This game is on Monday.  So, the schedule is pushed back a day.
