I think I'd rather hang out in 9ers parking lot than go to a game in Sao Paulo - my friend who worked in Brazil for a 6-month stint had to have a bodyguard, do the kidnapping training and carry a gun.

John Creasy?

True true, and Bama has plenty of $, I think Sark’s contract total was 36m, so yeh, they could buy it out and still pay him big $ and possibly be getting out for what they were paying Saban.

Texas does have deep pockets though and I think they would do what it takes to keep Sark. He’s made them relevant again and has some great recruiting classes just now coming up.

The number 9 overall recruit (wr) decommitted yesterday from Bama after the Saban news and has said he wants to visit Texas. Texas already signed Wingo so that would be phenomenal if Texas can get him too.

You could make an argument Texas is a better job than Bama. Better recruiting state, better area to live in Austin, donors have more money so endless resources.

Absolutely, yet they have stumbled around in the dark until they hired Sark. Sad really with all those resources and $.

So an average day in Texas 😂

It's more than wearing a big hat down there, you might run into some bad hombres.

Agree, was just being funny, or attempting to be. I do carry though, cannot afford not to in today's world, do I think I'll ever need it? No,  but I am not going to be a victim without at least being prepared and on a level playing field.

Yeah. Im not sure who wants to go to Brazil.

Im not sure the players will want to go there either. They cant go out to eat the night before or anything. Theyll all be getting stabbed and mugged.

i didn't pick the cowboys and never would.

Some are like you.

The majority here on this board were rooting hard for the Cowboys to win over the Lions.

There may have been a few, but it definitely wasn’t my doing.

Ok.   Well, the Cowboys are no longer the Eagles hated rivals.  Not when there is a theoretical benefit to come from a Cowboys win.   Even when the downside of a Cowboys win is clear,  the majority here took the upside of the Cowboys win.

This particular set of Eagles fans, found here, rooted for the Cowboys, who won, taking the division title.   Division titles, according to the majority of the Eagles fans here,  are meaningless.

As of this morning there are 8 HC positions open in the NFL, 25% turnover. I wonder what the record is. That seems really high.

Should be 9.

Hopefully soon.....

I know. Just seems to me you'd want to be on the field ASAP after a humiliating loss and preparing for a playoff game. I'm sure I'm overreacting in my old school ways but if it's normal it's normal.

I believe Bucs already started to practice

different teams

If this happens the niners would have the easier path to a Super Bowl than any recent team. Would be hilarious if they managed to then blow it.

If that get's me SF - Detroit NFCCG with Detroit winning, I'll take it.

Big name who I liked in the draft staying in school.

Definitely a guy who could've helped fairly quickly as a slot receiver with the talent to potentially step up if targets started leveling out beyond AJ/Smitty.

He was the best #2 (not jersey number) wr in college fb this year...

They wouldn't be worried about going out to eat...they would be worried about getting to the beaches for those Brazilian womens...

Like OSU or hate them, no one can deny they’ve been a WR factory.  He’s probably better than most college team’s #1

Curious what the future holds for BB.  He's 71.  Is he going to continue coaching?  Does he want to go into a rebuild at 71 or would he want to go into a team that's "close"?

I have a wild prediction.  Mike McCarthy is out in Dallas, and Jerry hires Bill Belichick.

There's a 0.0% chance of Belichick working for Jerry. Remember, Belichick's mentor was (until their falling out) Parcells, and we all saw how that went. Belichick will want full control, and that doesn't exist in Dallas where players can always go straight to the owner.

If Dallas loses to Green Bay, or maybe even in the Divisional round (especially if it is to us), I think McCarthy could be out and replaced with...Dan Quinn. Jerry has been adamant about keeping Quinn around, and he might just fire McCarthy and promote Quinn if that is the only way to keep him in Dallas.

Saban and belichick should do a podcast together. I’m betting they’d have amazing stories and based off some of the stories that have come out from former players they are actually more comedic behind the scenes

Sadly i don’t think the lions would beat the niners. I don’t trust Goff in that type of game vs. that defense. And then having Laporta possibly out is massive

Yeah, but this was a what we are rooting for not who would win.  So I don't disagree with you, this is just what I want.

There's always a risk sitting starters in Week 18, having a bye week, then going into the Divisional Round game against an opponent who has been playing on schedule and coming off a playoff win.  The Eagles drew the Giants last season, so it was quite unlikely it was going to cost them.  It's happened before, though, that the higher seed falls way behind early and can't catch up, or loses in the end.  DAL vs GB a few years ago comes to mind.

SF is a fragile #1 seed in that they have character issues and a middling QB.  BAL is also somewhat fragile because of their QB's playoff track record.
