Lol wasn't there something that came out the other day about this same thing? Saying losers in the locker room couldn't handle being booed in the playoff game. I guess we know one of them.

I've been saying that the Eagles have a Home Field DISadvantage for a while. Slay is just picking up my narrative.  The Eagles will be motivated to piss off Eagles "fans" by winning.

He can go ahead and leave town permanently as far as I'm concerned.  I'm sick of him and his comments.  This team is 1-5 down the stretch and went from top seed in the NFL to a punch line, all in a matter of SIX weeks.   They deserve every boo they have gotten, and a few more beyond that.

That makes you a **** fan.  You're not rare,  most of the "fans" here are ****.    They even rooted for the Cowboys over the Lions.

If they have a homefield disadvantage then why are they 15-4 at home the past two seasons including playoffs?

When they are playing well they have one of the bigger home field advantages in the NFL. When they play like crap, then they hear about it and can feel bad about it like they should. They talk about accountability, but when the crowd gives it to them, apparently it doesn't apply then or makes them "bad fans". F That, the bad fans are the ones who cheer when their team is doing poorly because maybe it'll make them feel better. Jason Kelce gets it and so have so many others who don't have skin like graphene.

It's only talk.  There really isn't accountability.

Ok Ace. How about teams don’t keep coaches who lose the locker room and completely collapse especially when the expectations are so high?9

If you look at Slay's comment on the last page, it seems like the Eagles players don't want to play for the Philly fans.   No evidence that Siri has lost anything.   And when you clinch the playoffs,  going 10-1,  and then make the playoffs,  you haven't collapsed.

Slay almost said (didn't though) that the Eagles lost on purpose,  just to get away from those awful Philly "fans".

It's entirely possible,  that if almost all the fans are so awful,  the fans don't even realize how awful they are.  Awful is normal.

It's been all over the radio all day. Seen it in Facebook groups too.

Also note that "playing possum" was mentioned by Desean Jackson before Ochocinco mentioned it.

The fanbase will put players on a throne (example of Dawk, Kelce, Foles, etc.) and boo the hell out of they if you deserve it

Sure, they might hold some plays back, etc. But they got embarrassed a couple times in there when the division and home playoff games were on the line. No way I think they lost on purpose or wouldn't have tried to actually win a couple of those games. Why would they make it way harder on themselves just to make themselves seem weak to lull the other team, who now gets to host, into a false sense of security and have to play every game on the road. Don't buy it for a second.

Read what Slay said about the fans booing.  It's a home field DISadvantage.

We'll see what happens.  I don't know what'll happen.

I have been arguing though,  for quite a long time,  that they've been running a half built offense, and I'm expecting more in the playoffs.  They didn't need more than a half built offense to get to the playoffs.  Maybe 3/4s built.

Do you think they went 1-5 in their last six, were uncompetitive against SF and Dallas, lost to Drew Lock, lost to the Cardinals and Giants, blew the division and a chance at the #2 seed, and opted to be on the road throughout the playoffs on purpose?

I think that losing to the 9ers when they were 10-1 shook them up.  They knew they had to bring something different to win.

I don't think they lost on purpose,  but they didn't care much about winning.  Read what Slay said.  Home games aren't good for the Eagles because Eagles fans are so bad.  So it's a combination. The games didn't matter. And they needed to bring more.   Beating the 9ers will be tough.  It was tough to do,  they didn't do it,  when they were 10-1.   If the Eagles don't beat the Bucs,  I'll be wrong.

The Ravens crushed it in the regular season in 2019,  and lost their first playoff game.  Crushing it in the regular season is no guarantee of success.

The Eagles didn't waste all their points in the regular season.  They saved quite a few for the playoffs.

This is about where I've been. It did seem they were holding back on the playbook and letting their foot off the gas much of the season. But with everything they had on the line they still couldn't beat teams that they should have without giving it a full effort. The way we were beat by these teams in final weeks they would have had to purposely blow them. I'm still holding out some hope that a playoff atmosphere will motivate the players and maybe coaches will show us some new looks. But I find it hard, even down right silly, to believe that we are going to see a completely different team on Monday and it was all part of some master plan. That's almost a Q level conspiracy theory.

You sound reasonable.  But geniuses, in the world,  not football specifically,  have been doing things that midwits cannot fathom.

What's "a Q level conspiracy theory?"

They're pretty good on the road, too,  when the other team has a home field advantage.

Were they better at home or on the road this season?

Nah,  the Eagles have the worst fans in the NFL.   It's well known across the NFL.  You're just justifying the bad behavior.

Yeah, lets not do that

I remember all the "flat-earth" talk here awhile back and it did not end well.

Ugh, Kay Adams is ruining herself. She was so much better looking before she either got work done or just started applying gobs of makeup.

I'm with Slay.

I've been pointing out this terrible behavior for weeks now.   Home Field DISadvantage.

Why give a home game to fans who boo and who chant when the Eagles are on offense?

Maybe don't play like crap and give them a reason to boo. The fact that he knows the fans are going to boo is the worst part about this.
