Can we stop engaging TATEs version of Skip Bayless please? It's obvious he's a blatant troll

they made the playoffs.   NFL history has a lot of teams with good records who didn't make the playoffs.

Who cares? The team has played like crap the entire year. No accountability, no adjustment, no heart.

Another classic that ultimately didn't end well -_-

Media doing media things…everybody wants a headline or a click. Let’s finish the season. Tired of the BS attention on the DAL team, haven’t done crap in 28 years. Surely there is something more interesting to speculate.

I'm familiar with it.   However,  I don't know what the "Q level conspiracy theory" is.

Let me tell you the Ali story of the "rope a dope"

Ali was really really sick before his fight with George Foreman.   He tried,  as all boxers do, always,  to suggest otherwise would be idiotic, to fight as hard as he could from the beginning of the fight. But he was so weakened by his illness that he could just not fight.  And George Foreman just beat him up.   But,  at the end of the fight,  Ali just got better, and was able to knock Foreman out.

That's the only possible explanation of that fight.  People who suggest otherwise are crazy idiots,  insane retards.

Some conspiracy theorists suggest that Ali didn't try very hard.  Intentionally.  They even made up a name for it "rope a dope".   But Eagles fans know that's impossible.  Teams try as hard as possible, always,  and if they lose,  the coach should be fired.  In the Ali fight, specifically,  there's no way Ali would have intentionally not tried hard,  an Eagles fan would say, because each round is scored,  and there's no way Ali would intentionally lose a round, putting him behind on the cards.  If the "plan" was to knock Foreman out, there's no way to know for sure that he would knock Foreman out,  so, he would not have done that.  That's Eagles fan logic.     Another part of the Eagles fan logic is that in order to study trends,  all you have to look at is the last game.   If the last game is a win,  the Eagles will win all the rest of the games,  and are the greatest team.  If the last game is a loss,   the Eagles will lose all the rest of the games.

Slay pretty much said that Eagles fans were garbage and that it would be better to go elsewhere,  where the fans weren't quite as hostile.    I don't know when the Eagles decided it would be better to not have to play for booing fans in Philly.   But the Eagles fans have been booing and chanting on offense for a while now.

I will say, in defense of the folks who say "they weren't half assing it", well,  they didn't do a good job of keeping such core players rested and healthy.    I have been arguing for the Eagles to play Brown, Smith etc less,  and give more snaps and targets to players who weren't getting snaps and targets,  because it might be useful to get some other guys good, in case the core guys got injured.  And the core guys are injured.

One of the core arguments I've been making this year is that the defense has a lot of great, top athletes with the best measurables,  and at least a tiny bit of experience on offense at some point.    I've been calling for the Eagles to use those players.   But it's clearest that the best time to do that is the playoffs,  when you need to.    Some of you are pissed at the Eagles because they're certain the Eagles would lose,  and they're treating it as if the Eagles have already lost, and they're pissed like after a loss.  I'll  be pissed at the Eagles if they lose without trying these great athletes with offense on their resume on offense.  Some call them versatile freakbeasts.

That’s just not the way the NFL works…Parsons was a great RB in Harrisburg PA. DAL needs a power back in the RZ. Are they going to put him in the backfield? No way, too much to risk. You can’t risk top athletes like that. An injury comes along and you’re down a key player.

Especially when they have not put a single complete game together all year. That's the long long game right there....

thats not it though. if they dont win in these playoffs, its because theyre actually holding back to surprise teams NEXY year and win THAT super bowl.

Um,  teams don't fire coaches that take them to the playoffs.   Also, the Eagles went to the Super Bowl last year.   These are, I guess, obscure things that an Eagles fans wouldn't be expected to know.

Ok Ace. How about teams don’t keep coaches who lose the locker room and completely collapse especially when the expectations are so high?9

DAL either backs up the Brinks truck and extends his rookie deal before his contract ends or they trade him to get something in return. They’re not just gonna let his contract expire and him walk away. He’s under contract through (with an option year) 2025. Cee Dee and Micah will get paid, for better or worse long term, they’re getting paid. If I’m DAL I do everything possible to get a long term deal with the way contracts are exploding year after year.

This is what Jerry has to say which was reported in October:

Naturally, Dallas would like him around long-term, to the point where owner Jerry Jones even used his future deal as reasoning for an offseason contract impasse with guard Zack Martin.

"It's not about precedent — it's about facts," Jones told reporters at training camp in late July.

"We need the money to pay Parsons. We need the money to pay the players we've got to pay in the future. That's a fact. That's not even a philosophy. It's just a fact. Those dollars are there, and we have this at this level. If you redid all the contracts, you could never put a roster together."

Dallas and Martin eventually got a deal done, but the Cowboys are going to have to break the bank for Parsons.

Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air

In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days
Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’ all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said 'You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'

I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said ‘fresh’ and it had dice in the mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought 'Nah, forget it' - 'Yo home, to Bel Air'

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo home, smell you later' I looked at my kingdom
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air
