We all know the Eagles are going nowhere and this is irrelevant, but a MNF playoff game is unacceptable.  No team should win a playoff game and have to deal with a short week for the next round.  That’s absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah I hate it.  I loved the first year they expanded to 7 teams and there was 3 playoff games on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.  It was perfect.

They don't need to, I believe because it's an internal appointment vs going outside of the org.  Could be seen seen as contrary to the Rooney Rule

The schedule this entire year has been unacceptable.

I don’t blame the results of the season on it, but it’s made for a pretty miserable fan experience.

The players won’t say it, but I have to believe they hate it as much as we do.

Apparently Mayo's contract contained a "succession" clause that he would take over when BB would retire/be fired.

The contract was registered with the league office and as a result is not subject to the Rooney Rule

I can’t remember a tougher schedule in 35+ years following the Eagles, tbh.

Add in that they played in more rain games then I have ever remember seeing and that they have 2 new coordinators found very, very late in the off-season, I am kind of shocked they started 10-1 and actually made it to the playoffs.
