Peacock isn't the first paid service to broadcast a game, folks are mad about Peacock but Amazon Prime Video has had Thursday night games for years.  Weird for a playoff game though, they should just stick to both Peacock and NBC.

You have to pay for cable to watch games in different sports.  Thankfully MNF airs on both ESPN and ABC.  But other sports are on cable networks like NBA on TNT, Phillies playoffs were on TBS, etc.  If you don't have cable and satellite and only have an antenna for local channels, you don't get to see games that are exclusively on cable.  

Eventually, they need to just find a way to coordinate all the contracts so people who don't live in the local area and don't have cable can purchase a team package.  I'd gladly pay to be able to watch just my team all season no matter what channel it's on.  Sunday Ticket doesn't include night games or playoffs.  Just make a per-team subscription or a pay-per-view for individual games to make additional money on top of what they're already getting.

Nope, doesn't matter. Big picture though, just seems so short sighted. They have 2 DE on the roster and never replaced Barnett so those DE are not getting any rest. Justin Evans was a borderline starter/solid depth and ST and they never relaced him on the roster. They know Blankenship gets injured once every 4 games and one injury to him put them at Byard and a rookie playing. Instead now he's hurt, the rookie safety is hurt and they only have 1 freaking safety. The guy they are cross-training to start gets hurt more than anyone else on the team. 

My guess is Tristan McCollum ends up playing more at safety than Maddox. 

Why are we playing Ryan Kerrigan and Robert Quinn on the field at the same time so much?

Not everyone does that though. Either way, you're putting games on a limited access service. 

Not everyone has ESPN. Not everyone gets TNT or TBS.

I just find it fascinating that the Eagles are very banged up almost entirely because of playing starters in a game that never mattered...all to capture some momentum when they ended up decimating their confidence even further.
