All white uniforms.  Kind of like making a formal surrender for the season.

I miss them wearing black socks with their white pants.

Gotta get the knee right for next week's tee time.

Time to play chess Howie. Bring in AP as the new DC for 2024. Crosby demands a trade to the Eagles. AP has the Eagles defense playing at an elite level in 2024 and gets a HC job in 2025 and the Eagles get their 3rd round picks.

So you point the finger to every single player/coach/front office but the QB gets a pass every time??

MANNNN OSU is bringing back some dogs.  JT is one of my favorite DE in the draft and thought he could be a great fit here.

And Jack Sawyer went back… yeah, a base end would be nice pickup in FA or the draft (Trice?).

I insinuated nothing. I commented very briefly on a post that did comment on the use of your vs. you’re.

My grammar is not superior. Good grammar is a thing unto itself. It is not mine.

Intent is in how message is received no?

Im not trying to criticize but rather point out the typical communication pitfall. If people dont place a priority on grammar dont use that as excuse to diminish the message. Especially as there as huge generational gaps in the importance of grammar

I'm making a joke.  I'm not pointing the finger at AJ.  His knee is Fed up.  Cry more, you baby.

Sirianni speak translation "he’s also out”

Let’s make it a cultural war thing, as good grammar is worth fighting for as a matter of principle. With this attitude we’ll be communicating to our grandchildren via incoherent gibberish and emojis.  Be better, set the example for what you want to see in the world.

This will be a huge inditement on the coaching staff if they know beforehand that AJ is out and we still have a garbage gameplan. Devonta, Goedert and Swift should be score on the Bucs but chances are everything will look extremely difficult per usual.

So the Bucs will have to game plan for either a terrible secondary or a terrible secondary.

This makes things more complicated for them.

Dude...relax....they have the WR screen to Quez with Devonta as the lead blocker ready to go!!

Look…the team has stunk the last 6-7 weeks regardless of who they played.  I might be alone here, but I couldn’t care less about them playing players that were ‘healthy enough to play’.  It hasn’t seemed to matter either way.

There’s a lot to complain about with this team recently, but that isn’t one of them.  Just my opinion

Well...here is my issue.  That was the great debate last week: rest them or play them.  It was a meaningless game, so the only real rationale to play them was the "get right" approach.

I strongly disagree with that rationale...considering that 16 games couldn't do it, taking a breather for a week instead of bashing their collective heads into the same wall felt like the right decision.  But whatever, that's debatable.  They chose the "get right" option.  And while NOT protecting players from injury and instead trying to "get right", they further humiliated themselves AND turned a team that had it's entire roster converging on perfect health for the playoffs into a very banged up team.

The entire situation was horrifically botched.

Jalen has gotten really comfortable with Julio over the last few weeks.   Smiity has always been his guy for years.  They can do this.  Reminds me of Donovan having to go into the Playoffs without T.O.  in the 2004 season and they still won both playoff games.

Well, if there was ever an audition for Sirianni, it's this. Go out and prove you have some offensive genius in that brain. Without Brown, he'll actually have to go out for a change and scheme some guys open and not rely on his most talented guys to make contested catches and beat their man. If he can't do that, then arrivederci, Sirianni.

I don't think Lurie and Howie have as much input regarding playcalling etc. as people think, but I sure do hope Lurie told them bluntly that doing that again is a job losing decision.

harping on style is a distraction from substance, generally

You guys are getting way too defensive over typos. He never insinuated superiority. That's something you completely invented in your own mind. The original comment from hunt was just a joke that wasn't event aimed at anybody from the EMB. You and ipiggles took it way too personally.

McNabb had the help of a much more reliable defense that year though.  He also had:

Or maybe you should stop acting like you're better than everyone else! Why are you so elitist by trying to be so damn coherent all the time!!!

I've had a steady diet of selecting him in the 20's playing with the mock simulator. Just the kind of DE this team could've used. Big, tough, high motor, can set the edge and get to the QB. I'm not seeing a worthy DE in the 20's right now... I'm only lukewarm on Trice especially in that area. If DT's Newton and/or Taylor are sitting there when we are on the clock, I'm very curious to see of they'd pull the trigger, most fans would not be happy with another first round DT.
