I agree with you 100%. He deserves some but philosophically Sirianni deserves more blame. I do think people are reluctant to give him credit when they do things well. The middle screen to Swift and the sweep were good plays and play calls. They ran the ball well in the red zone. It was an up and down game against a very good defense.

3 for 3 in the red zone tonight.

76% over the last 4 games.

Going into Arrowhead and getting the win was huge. Hard place to play for visiting team.

He comes up big when we need him most. He has really improved after a slow start to the year.

3 best offenses we’ve faced so far:

Dallas

Miami

KC

13 combined second half points allowed. Desai may not have a great defense, but they do some outstanding second half adjustments

Can't really agree with this. If Desai put up a game like the offense did, his head would be rolling on the blog. If he doesn't look like he's fielding a top 5 defense even with underachieving secondary personnel, he's getting obliterated.

Johnson has had very unimpressive play-calling for the majority of the games this year, they've been bailed out by the defense a LOT. Even in games where the defense isn't playing great, they usually have key moment turnovers or stops that equalize for mistakes from the offense, or give them back the ball when needed.

Wonder if they had a Hurts draw or Jones screen drawn up. Thanks Jalen.

That's two games this year the Chiefs have lost because their WRs made a costly drop at the end of a game.

Like last year I think they may be the team we most want to see in the super bowl. But this year, I dont think they have enough to get there again. Last year Juju was a solid outlet for Mahomes and he doesnt even have a guy like that this year. He has Kelce, and absolutely nothing.

I guess I wouldnt mind seeing Baltimore either. But Id most prefer the Chiefs.

I think itll be tough to dominate the dolphins like that again. I dont think we match up well with Buffalo. Those would be really tough.

We can play the physical game with the Ravens or Chiefs and rely on our play makers to make more plays than their non-playmakers.

If we get to the 1 yard line every time we could be 100% for the rest of the year.

Sea, Ari, NYGx2 puts us at 13 wins. Need to win at least 1 of BUF/DAL/SanFran.

14 should get us the #1 seed. Det is not going undefeated.

Let’s just win the next one. On to Buffalo!!

He probably checked to some of those during the game when he saw a pressure look pre-snap.

thats not been an issue anymore. Now the issue has been getting there often enough.

Travis Kelce just said it’s nothing that we did it’s all on us. Way to be a bad loser Travis. Show some class like your brother.

Hurts was like, "Nope, I’m not running the WR screen play for the 6th time tonight.  Time to go deep.”

Unfortunately Johnson gave the fans a lot of ammunition with an offense that frequently had no answers tonight.

How many games have the Eagles won in Seattle?  That one is easier said than done

It changes a bit in the back half of the season against teams that don’t have a real starting qb and have management that may not even want to win the game.

Vikings will want to win.  Cowboys will also.

Either that or a QB draw.

You guys will finish 15-2…maybe 16-1. I stated that earlier today. DAL will possibly be the only loss, SF and Buff @ home? Nope. Y’all win those games. DAL has a chance because it’s divisional game and it’s at their house. The Eagles are just finding ways to win, that is because the locker room, doesn’t matter how ugly, they find ways to win week in, week out. That takes a lot of mental toughness the way they’re doing it.

Philosophically isn’t their problem, it’s situationally, and that is where Johnson IS responsible.

Sirriani is not micro managing the actual calls in-game. ‘

So, the stupid screens and draws when everyone and their cousin can see it coming is on Johnson.

Ah yes. Third down. What are we going to get he- oh. Another QB draw.

That’s great for Hurts, but it’s also a reminder that we have no idea who exactly is responsible for the play call on a specific down and distance.

If Carter picked off that spike it would've been the greatest football play in the history of earth.

Agreed and I’m sure Hurts checked to some plays that didn’t work but those won’t be mentioned. But I guess at the end of the day he came up big when we needed him.

Yep. Talking about red zone today is silly because we can just say 'and how many three and outs?'

It's kinda like someone saying 'well things could always be worse'. And it's like yeah, but...
