The Flyers PP is so bad. Looks as stale as the Eagles offense.

Relieved that Brown is out.  His knee is ultimately fine and I thought they'd force it just for him to finish the job and tear his ACL.

We'll also find out what kind of $250m QB Hurts is.  Smith/Watkins/Jones/Goedert/Swift are acceptable weapons.  If the offense falls apart without AJ, that's telling us something.

Haven't we already figured that out over the last 2 months? He isn't a dude who elevates players. He needs a great supporting cast and missing even one person derails this entire offense, especially if it's Brown or Smitty.

This game will be ugly if hurts plays the whole thing. Brown is his guy, without him there he isn't going to know where to look after smitty and we're going to see a lot of bailed pockets for no reason and a lot of sacks. His pocket presence has been awful all year, idk what happened but Hurts's regression by itself is enough reason to give Brian Johnson the ax. A little regression was expected, what actually happened is unacceptable.

Been that way for years. It hasn't been good since jagr and Hartwell were here

Is that Kenny Gainwell?

Yup.

I would love to see a SB with 2 teams that have no won a SB: Bills and Lions would be interesting.  Lions have never even been to a SB in their history.

I don't want to see the Cowboys (obviously) or 49ers win so if either of them make it, I'd want any AFC team.

Why are y'all arguing about grammer so much.  Didn't like Frasier?  One of the best spin-offs of all time.

Yep.  Bad scheduling to make a playoff game a Mon night to begin with, and you're right it's the perfect emergency spot for such a situation with need to reschedule.

The narrative for Eagles/Bucs is a greedy NFL wanting another time slot.  If they hadn’t done that, it would be an emergency snow MNF playoff game.

Browns and Lions for me.   Bills have had their chances... let Cleveland get a taste.

Intent is in how message is received no?

Im not trying to criticize but rather point out the typical communication pitfall. If people dont place a priority on grammar dont use that as excuse to diminish the message. Especially as there as huge generational gaps in the importance of grammar

If language, of which grammar is a significant part, is used as a weapon, I concede your argument. At the same time, however, messages that are garbled by misuse of words or bad grammar often reflect poorly on the messenger and the import or impact of the message may be lost.

I have had fairly heated discussions with some of my black friends over the legitimacy of "black English.” "Keeping it real,” is a common argument, to which I reply, "Yes, absolutely, but if that’s all you can speak you are working under a major handicap.”

An Englishman’s way of speaking absolutely classifies him.

The moment he talks he makes some other Englishman despise him.

While it hs been mostly pathetic, they've scored a PP goal in 3 consecutive games.  It is getting better.

Florio with some bombshell news :

Reid might or might not retire

Sirianni might or might not get fired

McCarthy might or might not get fired

Mike Florio on NBC(take it FWIW, he's not Schefter):

"You'd think Nick Sirianni's job being on the line is nothing to see here given 3 straight playoff appearances, but talking to people around the league, there is something to see here. Watch out if they lose Monday night to the Bucs, and Belichick is available."

I think Reid coaches until he dies or a team won't employ him anymore.  The way he only took 2 days off after his son OD died at training camp showed how addicted he is to coaching.  Plus he has Mahomes and ride him to possibly surpassing BB as the GOAT.

Does this sound about right? Just wanted 3 items in preparation for when friends/family/coworkers ask me why Sirianni got shitcanned come Tuesday AM

1. Panic move promoting Patricia fractures the team and loses the locker room

2. Not resting starters in a meaningless game results in QB1 and WR1 injured for the playoffs

3. Going 1-5 to end the season and getting blown out by an inferior 9-8 team in the Wildcard round

While I was in favor of paying the starters the final week while the possibility was still there for the Redskins to beat the Cowboys, it also got the Eagles best safety injured for the playoffs.

Goedert is really doubling down on this isn't he?
