The offense does, but Smith fell in our laps and AJ Brown was not drafted. Neither was Swift.

We've hit on OL, but the vast majority of his offensive skill position players have been misses.

They hit on hurts (assuming he doesn’t fall off a cliff after paying him going forward like wentz) but they didn’t hit on him cause they believed he’d be what he became. He was going to be their cheap backup to the Qb that they paid $100+ mil to the previous offseason cause carson kept getting hurt.

but the skill position they’ve been dreadful.  devonta smith, goedert, sanders (not here anymore cause of $ to re-sign an back) and way lesser extent gainwell (5th rounder) have hit since 2016. They spent a bunch of capital at Wr on guys had none became productive besides smith (JJAW spent 2nd, hollins spent a 4th, gibson spent a 5th, reagor spent a 1st, quez spent a 6th and Hightower spent a 5th)

This is the way.

Get the Texans or the ravens coordinator as HC and rebuild the D from ground up.

Just folded and got Peacock for the game tonight.  Threw the Browns-Texans game on and it's just choppy as crap and not a smooth framerate at all.

But he made some poor decisions with defensive personnel this past offseason.

Hopefully they lose tomorrow so we can move on from Sirianni.

I hope this time they find an SME HC instead of another cheerleader with a clip board.

And he took Smith over Porter and Branch. Davis over Hamilton doesn't look too hot either. Signing two old corners. Not a good 2023 offseason for Howie

How many SB wins does Hurts have again?

Amazing that he will come up with every excuse he can for his love interest, but continue to trash the only guy that's ever won us a SB.

Oh yeah, he's a troll.

Siri was a bad hire but understandable as it was so late in the process.

Howie's drafts have been awesome lately, Smitty, Dickerson, Jurgens, Carter etc.

Hurts will be fine. We know he can play at a high level when he doesn't have the clown brain trust of BJ/Siri running the offense. Need to get him a real offensive mind.

He's had some good drafts lately but we're mostly in our current situation because his drafting prior was pretty much a dumpster fire. 2018 was good and there was a sprinkle of success in between. We're pretty much relying on our draft successes from a decade+ ago with Kelce, Lane, Cox and Graham to survive which isn't sustainable.

For reference, the last 1st round pick that's still on the team that's not on a rookie contract is Lane Johnson. And it's not because the others left for more money lol

Let's see how many he does have by the end of his career.  Right now just 4 years into his career he's already taken the team to one as well as now 3 straight playoff appearances.  I have a feeling he'll end up with multiple when it's all said and done.

Maybe we should've brought Ryan's back here but nope, we just had to have the Fangio system. Thanks Lurie/Howie but they don't think any of this is their fault, so blame everyone else

HAHA, Stroud got benched!

Meco was a great player and is shaping up to be a great coach. Really happy for him.

Same. Also love Stroud and Dell.

Good grief.  The head coach who went 14-3 and to the Super Bowl last year, and started 10-1 this season was "a bad hire”

Stefanski is one of the best coaches in the NFL and his team is currently getting torched for 45 points by the Texans.  Was he a bad hire, or was Schwartz?

CJ Stroud is really, really good. Especially for a rookie.

Just wait till his "basically a rookie” year.

Stroud finishes 1 pt away from a perfect passer rating. Singletary was getting 5ypc too. Browns defense just got destroyed in every possible way.

Schwartz. Next question.

Hurts last passing TD on the road was almost three months ago.

You mean like "he ain’t playing around” right?

Icing on the cake of this season is Barnett is good now 🤣🤣🤣

What a showing by Houston. A Steelers or Dolphins win lets them avoid Baltimore for a week. DeMeco has these guys ready to ball.

It’s hard to believe the drop off in his play over the course of the season.  And it  Kind coincided w/ the drop off in his attitude.

Think we may have seem his last game as an eagle
