I’m to the point where these kinds of games no longer stress me out.

I just expect the Eagles to make enough plays to win.

Pretty odd feeling TBH.

They’re the anti-2000s Reid teams. They lose every one of these types of games. It’s a testament to Sirianni and the leaders on the team.

I think Jalen just won the MVP tonight. Wasn’t a great performance, but he’s slaying dragons

Man, I've F'ing had enough of these talking heads calling that drop by MVS a "would-be game-winning TD."

As if we didn't have all 3 timeouts and there wasn't 1:40 on the clock.

At least they are complaining about a play/lack of one - rather than flags.

Like it hasn't been a recurring pattern all season long?

Siri designs the plays makes some in game calls, BJ makes calls, Hurts makes calls, Kelce tells Hurts what to do sometimes how do you know exactly who to blame when?

I mean on the season. It’s a close race, but Hurts is now 3-0 vs 3 of the prime candidates

Hurts find moments in games that give his team the edge. It’s why he may not be the best player in the NFL but he’s the MVP for that reason.

Strong locker room.

Jet sweep to swift might have been the best play call and most creative call of the entire night by Johnson

The middle of the field screens to Swift were nice as well.  Should have kept feeding Swift, imo.

I'm losing hope for him. His playcalling ability isn't improving as the season progresses and he's getting bailed out by the talent on offense constantly. Situationally it's AWFUL. WR screen, WR screen, QB Draw after the turnover in the 4th was fire worthy.

That's funny, I also believe the back to back wr screens to opposite sides of the fields was elementary type play calling. Especially when they completely blew up the first one and nearly picked it off inside the 10 yard line. To come back with the same play to the opposite of the field was just, abysmal and pathetic. No words for how bad. That draw was a total give up play. All those play basically were, except the pass to Swift.

I do think we miss that second back. Gainwell isn't it. One that can grind out and wear down the defense. Especially in the second half. Penny may be that guy but they just refuse to even try.

Howie strikes again with the mid-season additions. They don’t win tonight without those two big plays by Byard and Roby.

I think a game with the top 2 QBs playing ugly games could have opened it up for a non-QB to win. Unfortunately for AJ Brown, he couldnt shine either. This might open up a spot for Lamar Jackson in the conversation since his team is playing so well.

Tyreek Hill is the non-QB who probably deserves it right now if we're being honest.  He's on pace to break 2k receiving yards.

Rumor is that Penny isn’t seeing the field due to his blocking (or lack thereof)

Was our best offensive player. Smith was also good but really swift looked like he did earlier this year in this game. Jurgens makes a difference when they commit to running it.

Look at this offense as they were last season.

Then look at the offense this season.

Drastic difference a year makes, doesn't it?  What changed between last year and this year?  The only difference you have there is that Steichen is out and BJ is in.  Everyone else from last season to this season is in tact.

And you mean to tell me BJ isn't the variable?

good one. I think after this game, he deserves it. You had the 2 front runner QBs play and neither did much. That should be what it takes for some other position to finally win it.

Yep. And they are finally bouncing it outside (with success) - something I’ve been calling for

is hurts wearing a temu adidas shirt. It has 2 extra stripes.

No doubt Jackson catches it.  Not sure he gets that much separation anymore though.  (Would have gotten that much separation and more during his prime - probably would have walked that ball in, lol)

that shirt is wild. Its a 3 in 1. It has adidas track suit style sleeves. But then it has a collar with a button, and a chest pocket, like a dress shirt. But then it looks as thick as a light sweater.

His shirt is a versatile freakbeast.

Haha - I was wondering who that was jumping under there

Hurts was like, "Nope, I’m not running the WR screen play for the 6th time tonight.  Time to go deep.”

They actually are performing the same or better than last year. You do realize that right.

We also lost Steichen’s midweek contribution to the game plan. Johnson moved up but someone else had to pick up the slack for Johnson. There are many hands in success and failure.

That said, the offense was pitiful for much of the night. The playcalling looked mostly answer-less.

Yes.  We've definitely seen the offense as efficient and consistent as we did last year.  No difference there
