Yes I think he forgot.  actually I was more referring to all the spin being thrown out there in the news.  now we are hearing about how he is throwing lasers, it's all just rediculous.

I was laughing so hard when I saw this.   Chiefs got it done. Andy and Mahomes now have 12 Playoff wins in the last 6 seasons.  Tua on the road in the cold hasn't been the greatest combination.   It was like 70 Degrees in Miami too.  Miami also didn't play as well on the road this year or against teams with a winning record.   Chiefs have battle tested mentality.  They know what is like to get to the Super Bowl and win it.  Our Eagles climbed the mountain last year and were that close.  Now they get to climb it again starting with the Bucs.

Have to say that is passion when you attend one of the most coldest games ever to support your team that is not even playing.

I can't think of more "worse case" scenarios that has happened to this team this year, some NFL inflicted, some self inflicted.

The salary cap causing them to lose players like Edwards, Gardner Johnson, White, Hargrave

The schedule, just absolutely brutal, bad enough the teams they had to play (which of course is because they won the division) but more so when they had to play the teams and how.  I mean SF and Dallas both coming off 10 days rest?  And after them already having to play KC, Buffalo, Miami?

Injuries...besides the FA departures and schedule, you lose Maddox, McPherson, Dean, Goedert, Smith, Swift, Lane, Dickerson, AJ, Evans, Sydney Brown, Cunningham, etc..etc...just seems like we have had SOOOOOOO many injuries.....

Coordinators....losing Gannon and Stichen hurt (and I hated Gannon)....but replacing them with two unproven coordinators when you have that schedule and you are trying to get back to the Super Bowl?  Has proven to be a massive unrecoverable mistake.

l'm not happy with how they finished the season, and honestly I'm thinking that our season ends on Monday.  But, I'm honestly still trying to figure out with all the crap above how they Gumped their way to 10-1.  And even worse, I'm not sure how to even fix this mess.  Carter and Davis should be a lot better than they are.  Lane, Kelce, BG, Cox might all be gone.  Bradberry, Slay and Reddick have all underperformed and our QB......well to say he's gone backwards would be a massive understatement.

It's amazing how in a 12 month span, you can go from we are set up for years to be a contender to...I'm not sure how we are even going to be competitive next year.

Things can and do turn around for teams faster than fans often realize, especially when certain conditions are set in place. It requires the right input from Lurie and Howie this off-season to get things back on track, but it needs considered effort and some brave moves. This roster is too talented to falter again next year so the right augmentations need to be made both player and coaching side.

Two good young offensive minds are out there as well for HC.

Lurking the Dolphins Reddit sub and it sounds exactly like every Eagles board the last couple months. A lot of copium too but some are realizing you can't pay Tua a 200mill contract.

Same people who said you can't pay Lamar a big contract and Lamar is about to grt his 2nd MVP thus stamping a ticket to the HoF.

Saw Tyreek coming out of a restaurant in Ft Lauderdale Thursday night. He didn't want any of that KC cold lol. Dude had a McLaren with a stuffed animal cheetah on the dashboard 😆

Gotta win when you get there as you never know when you're getting back

If Siri is fired, how would people feel about Spags as a candidate?

He’s a coordinator only.

Yup…i wasn’t on the bandwagon, looked too stiff and inconsistent in college for me.  Sometimes you’re wrong…sometimes you’re right.  He still seems to be a very streaky player though.

Jason Garrett is a worse commentator than he was a coach.

Very few HC’s can pull of the manager or cheerleader role to great success.  Namely, BB and Nick Saban in college are 2 of those few.  Siri seems to be following in the clappers footsteps to be brutally honest.  He doesn’t appear to have the well rounded knowledge and pull to pull off the ‘glue’ role as a HC and be the grand overseer.  He doesn’t have the ability to lay out his vision and help his staff get there if he wants to not call plays or pull more strings on game day.

Verdict is still out on everyone’s punching bag from a couple off seasons ago…Dan Campbell.  That dude for as weird as he is came in and established an identity, told his staff what he wanted and helps them execute.  He holds true to it too.

It's actually pretty simple. You don't overreact.

The Eagles in the past several years are the third team to make the Super Bowl two times in six years with two different QBs and Head Coaches. The list of rookie head coaches to win the Super Bowl for their teams is a very grim list. What these things mean when put together is that if we try to do this a third time, we are incredibly likely to get burned, as doing it twice in 6 years is so rare.

If the combined coaching talent was the reason the team succeeded in 2022, you go get said coaching talent. There's lots of people out there that are good coordinators but not so great at being head coaches. Lean on that and get them in the building.

When Sean McVay was hired, he had Wade Phillips in the building.
When Doug was hired, he had Jim Schwartz in the building.
Mike McDaniel ended up with Vic Fangio in the building.

This pattern isn't a new pattern and is an extremely underrated aspect of successful coaching.

The chances of getting a new coach helping in the short term is pretty small. Not impossible, but statistically, the odds do not favor us. And the top candidates this cycle are pretty much all hardline football guys that conflict heavily with our organization and would end up in a power struggle with Howie.

Are you going to change your relationship status with Hurts to "it’s complicated” when we get eliminated?

I’m starting to think…Sherrone Moore is a hot name that should be on the HC circle.  Perfect for the way this team is assembled with his recent background.

This might have been the worst year for the NFL as an overall product in 30+ years.  Lamar is having a pretty darn good season, but him winning the MVP is basically the tallest midget at the circus with the way this year has been.

John Harbaugh is the most important one.

If he gets back to and wins another SB this year, I’ll agree for sure.  I float on whether him and Mike Tomlin are just beacons of mediocrity as coaches.

What are your thoughts on Calen Bullock from USC? I havent dove in yet. Ive seen highlights which lead you to believe he is Ed Reed in a superman cape. On the other hand, it seems like people say he isnt good.

Have you watched him yet?

Nope, i am going to have little to no opinion on any player not on the Michigan team this off season.  With my retirement I’ve been so busy and haven’t watched much.
