The Cowboys losing to the Packers is more disastrous than if the Eagles lost to the Bucs. But the Eagles losing 6 of 7 after starting 10-1 is more disastrous than the Cowboys losing to the Packers. That’s historically inept. Isolated upsets and stinkers happen all the time.

We are battling to be the tallest in a room full of short people…not all that satisfying

Jordan Love is making the Jets look pretty silly .

The Jets don't need any help in that department.  They do plenty of silly things on their own.

You want the Rams

I just want a good game. People can want an easier opponent if we happen to beat Bucs all they want

I thought it was more about getting a home playoff game, versus going to a dome.  Although, at least if they went to a dome, you'd think they'd avoid a rainy playoff game.  Then again, with the way things have gone this year, I wouldn't put it past the realm of possible.

New definition of fighting

With how many national TV games this season seemed to be total garbage every week, it’s apropos that every playoff game so far has been a blowout.

Feels like this game is gonna come down to if the rams are down by three or they’re down by 10 at halftime. Because they get the ball to start the second half. If they’re only down three at halftime then there’s a chance they’re gonna have the last possession and score and win.

Sorry.  46 years of well cultivated Cowboys hate doesn't go away because of one post.

The thing about the Cowboys for older Eagles fans has a long history of hatred.  The DVD set of the Philadelphia Eagles history does a good job showing that history and the buildup to the 1980 NFC Championship game.  Clips or maybe even all of that might be on YouTube as well.

Younger fans that only knew the team after Lurie bought it and they started having a lot of regular season success under Reid and then a Super Bowl win with Doug don't know the struggles of the past.  They also got used to winning and they've called some games the "worst loss" they've ever seen or worst seasons.  Lurie has fired a coach anytime the team has had a bad season.  So under Lurie they haven't had a long drought of losing.

But in the past: they were awful with bad ownership and losing teams.  Long droughts.  Younger fans also don't realize some things about the game.  There used to be a lot more rounds of the draft, there was no salary cap and free agency was different.  The teams with the richest owners could buy all the players.  Also before cable, national fans only really saw the most popular teams like the Cowboys, Steelers and Packers. Teams who were winning and popular got air time.  That's one of the reasons certain teams have fans all over the country.

Philly had an inferiority complex for a long time as well with Dallas.  They were the flashy ones with money and celebrities.  1 reporter called them "America's Team" on the air and that was it, that stuck for a long time.  Finally, Dick Vermeil brought a winning culture to the team.  The phrase "Beat Dallas" became so important.  They got over the hump by beating them in the 1980 NFCCG.  Then in the 90s the Eagles had a brutal defense under Buddy Ryan. He talked a lot of trash.  The team beat up the Cowboys in the regular season, Aikman still talks about getting hit by that defense.  But...Buddy Ryan never won a playoff game.  And for all the trash talk about tough defense, we had to watch the Cowboys win 3 Super Bowls in the 90s and the media went nuts over them, bandwagon fans all over the country (the type that happen to like the Bulls, Lakers, Yankees, any team that wins multiple championships) came out like cockroaches.

Yes it's true they haven't won a championship since back then. And it's understandable that younger fans see the modern Cowboys as frauds and choking and easy to laugh at.  There's a long history of hatred for the Cowboys and it's great seeing them choke like this especially Jerry spending so much money on a new stadium and them having high expectations.  We can laugh at them, but many Eagles fans are also bothered by the media hyping them up, announcers always talking them up and showing bias and always, always want them to lose.

Can you imagine this Lions offense against the Eagles defense?

Lol, I believe Washington's last playoff win was after the 2005 season.

Pretty sure Bill B will have no interest in coaching for Jones.

Well, that would mean the Eagles win tomorrow night...   so, no, I can't say that I can imagine that.
