Was our best offensive player. Smith was also good but really swift looked like he did earlier this year in this game. Jurgens makes a difference when they commit to running it.

This is my beef with the play calling last night, especially in the 1st half. The Eagles were getting destroyed on pass plays.  They should have leaned on Swift and even Boston Scott to take pressure off of the OL. It's so frustrating because we all know it's going to happen. Like clockwork, if a RB is doing well, you can bet that the Eagles will abandon him and try to throw for 4 straight series. The Eagles 3 and out after calling TO's to end the 1st half was one of the most predictable Eagles habits ever. Broken record but yea, the WR screens need to be burned until they get a Zay Flowers kind of player. DeVonta is going to get destroyed and option 2...Julio Jones??? Who thought that was a good idea?

Swift was 12 for 76 and Scott was 2 for 8. All Boston Scott does is break off 4yards+ runs. Glad they didn't feel the need to try to get KG in a 3ypc groove and left him at 1 for 1.

I don't know if it's a BJ thing or a Sirianni thing but this entire year they haven't seemed to have a feel for the game and adjusting to what is and isn't working.

Sniffed out, it wasn't hard, as soon as I saw Smitty running along the line I thought here comes a screen. Did they think Spags was off the field taking a crap?

Give spags credit he had a good gamplan. Most games if you hold the eagles to 21 points you are likely thrilled and I’m guessing like think you’d win the game with mahomes and reid on the other. Frankly if we were told before the game that spags held the eagles to 21 points, sacked 5 times, held the eagles to 3/11 on third down and picked off hurts that most of us would’ve thought that the eagles might not have won.

I agree with you 100%. He deserves some but philosophically Sirianni deserves more blame. I do think people are reluctant to give him credit when they do things well. The middle screen to Swift and the sweep were good plays and play calls. They ran the ball well in the red zone. It was an up and down game against a very good defense.

I thought the angle routes to Swift were a very good addition to the playbook. So hard to defend those

Best I can do. I am so high I was talking to the dog and he went to bed 45 minutes ago.

I say "wtf are we doing?” to my guy a half dozen times every game.

I don’t quite get the rule. So 2nd and 35 for example there’s illegal contact, 5 yard penalty and an automatic first down. How does that make sense? Surely on that basis offside should be an automatic first down.

The flip side is you would have grabbing on almost every 3rd and long play as soon as someone thinks they may be beat

We should do that way more often, you can throw it quick or get to it down field later in the progression

I love that our QB doesn't whine and cry for flags.

That is all.

Taylor Swift is doing an 'Eras' tour.

Ah.  I figured it had something to do with T.S.  The kids call her T.S. right?

Commanders actually have decent weapons. Mclaurin, Dotson and Brian robinson are nice weapons. Even Logan Thomas is playing alright this year. Still could use an upgrade at tight end but they have solid weapons. Their issues is the oline is just not good. It’s one of the reasons why he gets sacked so much. Other i think he is still young and tries to do too much at times. Tbh their biggest issue is their defense (particularly secondary) hasn’t been very good. They are 32nd in td passes allowed, 31st in passing yards allow and 26th in yards per attempt.

I agree they have some weapons but probably need just a little more.  Also your right, their Defense has taken a step back.  The point is Sam wasn't the biggest issue they had this year.  Hopefully he takes it to Dallas on Thanksgiving.

Josh Sweat's running style just makes me so nervous. It looks like he pulls a hammy every time he's in an all out sprint going after a QB but it's just the way that he runs. Yea, his early penalties were really annoying but his burst off the line is so impressive. Both Sweat and Carter are SOOO close to multi-sack games.

I still can't believe we won that game

I don't really believe that all positions simply require the athletics to be right to make it work consistently

However, I actually felt like a Fullback at least so we could use them as a lead made sense, I mentioned it earlier today. And I was unaware that VanSumeran played Fullback (I knew nothing about him really) - and I think that's much less of a pipe dream than the Nolan Smith route. You at least want experience at the collegiate level, and you don't want it to be from someone who actually has strong value elsewhere on the football team.

Fullbacks have been devalued to the point where they don't follow the normal football approach anymore. You can get them anywhere, it's just about identifying the talent. And they probably don't need to be 250 like they used to be because a lot of positions, including the linebackers they're usually trying to get to, have also gotten lighter. Not a bad idea, unlikely though.

But if you literally already have the person in a different roster spot, especially if they're also already active on Special Teams, doesn't hurt at all.

We already have that player, a guy who can lead any play, anywhere.

Devonta getting his roses. He deserves it. Good to see

That’s why I jokingly call him WR1. Such a great kid and a great player.  He had a fine game last night.

Player of the game can be shared by Byard and Roby.  If not for their plays those dropped passes by KC don't even matter because KC would've still had the lead.

They noonan-ed MVS/Travis/Watkins into submission, next level defensive technique.

That rule needs to change.  Give the 5 yards, but no automatic first down.  Some flag happy official can convert for a team by pulling the flag on a ticky tack call on 4th and the Golden Gate Bridge.  Ridiculous penalty.

Without the automatic first down, it would be the wild west out there, you'd see illegal contact on almost every 3rd and long. DBs would be toeing the line and mugging WRs even worse than the Panthers did to us in the NFCCG.

A young woman died at her concert in Brazil due to the heat. Would have been a optics nightmare to see her jumping around in the press box last night. Why do I know this? Now that she's with kelce she shows up in all of my Fn feeds. GRRRRRRRRR

Ok.  And then on 3rd and 4 or less, they'd have to stop and make a legit stop.    Converting 3rd and 20 because of a tug of a jersey is ridiculous.

I think a game with the top 2 QBs playing ugly games could have opened it up for a non-QB to win. Unfortunately for AJ Brown, he couldnt shine either. This might open up a spot for Lamar Jackson in the conversation since his team is playing so well.

I mentioned it last night, Swift is low key the team MVP this year.  Once they remember to get him rolling they’re unbeatable. When they forget about him….we struggle.  Absolutely top tier off season addition.

What's great is that the Eagles are 9-1, and somehow still remain disrespected.

All anyone is saying over the last several games is that the teams we played just beat themselves.

I absolutely love it.

Best record in the league and our guys still get to use the underdog role.

Cam being back seemed to have upped his yards per carry again.
