Ok.  And then on 3rd and 4 or less, they'd have to stop and make a legit stop.    Converting 3rd and 20 because of a tug of a jersey is ridiculous.

Fine with the rule - should just be a point of dis-emphasis.

Guys, Jalen Hurts is far and away this teams (and likely league) MVP.

Stop with the silliness.

I agree they have some weapons but probably need just a little more.  Also your right, their Defense has taken a step back.  The point is Sam wasn't the biggest issue they had this year.  Hopefully he takes it to Dallas on Thanksgiving.

Biggest issue they have might actually be Ron Rivera. He’s not a good HC. in 13 years as HC he’s had 3 winning seasons. He had that one 15-1 year with Cam. In the 7 full seasons since he’s had 1 winning season and he’s likely going to under .500 again so 7 out of 8 years. Record since has been 55-65-1

AJ clearly didn't have his best game.   He also wasn't happy on the sideline again.  Hopefully he bounces back against the Bills.  But give the Chiefs D credit. They really focused on taking him out.  Devonta is probably one of our most reliable guys   He just catches the most clutch plays at the best times.

The other big issue is they traded away their two best defensive players pretty much giving up on the season.

The last time this happened he went on an historic streak. Hope it happens again. I think they were bracketing him a lot in this game. A shame Hurts didn't have a split second more time because that INT would have probably been a TD or close to it.

AJ would have had a TD if he didn’t quit on a route

He didn't quit on his route. He adjusted his route because he beat Sneed off the line so bad

He has clutch catches in clutch moments. Smith is my favorite player

Yeah... Hurts had some pressure and didn't see the adjustment. Aikman called it out during the broadcast.

Tbh i don’t think they were re-signing young anyway. If i were them I’d probably have traded young too if i wasn’t planning on retaining him. Add on if it is actually true he had a crap work ethic and attitude behind the scenes.

Sweat i would’ve kept. Even though they got good value for him, his ability to stay healthy (only 1 year he missed time), rush the passer and ability to find that is going to be difficult.

That said im guessing their thought process was that bears 2nd rounder is going to be really high so they want to give a full amount of draft resources to whoever they hire after Rivera is fired and clean house.  So can either go with Howell and build around him or if they want a different Qb have the picks to go out and make the move.

tbh I’m curious if KC called the commanders and asked for mclaurin at the trade deadline if the commanders would’ve dealt him. I don’t think that was out of the realm of possibilities.

Not sure they wanted to dump another 100 mill on another dline player

Who penciled the Eagles in for a 15-2 season with losses to the Rodgers-less Jets and Giants?

Get ready for it.

hes not talking about that one. hes talking about the one where he stopped in the end zone and let the ball drop in front of him.

Youre finally thinking positive?

I understood why they unloaded young. Weren’t going to extend him as his injury history and off the field attitude they didn’t love. So maximize his value and get what you can. Sweat to me is the more curious case. Got good value with bears 2nd. However still have to replace him. He’s a really good pass rusher. Like josh sweat, i think he’s very underrated. I don’t think it’s going to be as easy as they think to find his replacement.

12 months too late. That guy is a moron

We should do that way more often, you can throw it quick or get to it down field later in the progression

Its tough to throw later bc the OL is trying to get out in front of him. Easy to get flagged

The end of games or halfs would be egregiously tough to watch. I think it's one of those things with unforeseen consequences that would change the entire dynamic of the game.

He's not talking about that play. he's talking about the one in the 4th quarter where Brown slowed up in the endzone for a second. Had he kept running, it would have been a TD. Didn't matter. Eagles scored anyway.

Everyone in the media keeps mentioning how if MVS catches the ball they win the game. 1:40 left on the game clock and I believe we had a timeout left. We would have had a chance to score.

Yeah, if anything, give them an extra couple yards of wiggle room if the contact was initiated within 5 yds and then carries over beyond that. But if the ball is coming that way, or it's after 10 yds or more, the laundry has to come out.

There's still lots of football left. A lot can happen in 7 games.

Buffalo/Philly will be a wild shootout.
