So Dak's cap hit is about just under $60M for 2024. I hear that the boys are currently over the cap. So people are saying he has to be extended to roll some of that 60M into a new contract to make it work. But b/c he has a no trade clause and no tag in 2025 he has a lot of leverage. But why can't they just let him walk after 2024?

I'm all caught up on the Board now.

How much do we get paid for doing this EMB thing again? Because not a lick of work is getting done today.

I have given my company the day off on MLK since inception. A lot of people are off today I feel.

They'll never do it, but they could post-June 1 him and eat $25.5M in dead cap for 2024, 2025, and $11M for 2026.  There are some short-term cap savings there, but you'd be getting nothing back for him by moving on.  All franchises seem to want to trade a QB they no longer want, thinking someone will offer multiple high draft picks for them.

The terms of his contract may dictate that type of move, though.  Either that or a trade during the summer (at a reduced return) to a team willing to negotiate a contract with him.  He played hardball for quite a while with Jerry, though -- so I doubt there'd be a lineup for that option.

You had some crappy little league coaches, man. Then again, I had a coach pound a couple of beers while driving me home from a game.

Was this him?

Once MLK Day was made a federal holiday our company made it a paid holiday and removed Good Friday as a paid day off. Now I just take PTO on GF.

Wait. They didn't even IR Sydney Brown???

NFL: fan safety matters

Did someone delete RTK’s homoerotic art of Dak getting ready to perform **** on Hurts? If so, thank you. You the real MVP.

I was just about to respond with this, to make matters worse, if they do not restructure him (more years and ridiculous money for mediocrity, this is the big drawback to restructuring), they can't resign a few key FA's. I say do it, rip off the band-aid, be the Saints of the league for a couple of years. The only dead money DAL has is next year and it is currently only at ~7m...

Little more to the left and Dak would've been on Hurts d. They both could be ghey for each other...

No one bothered to shovel the seats? 😂

I guess $20/hr wasn't a good enough deal. I guess the fans will just have to shovel snow out of their seat

I thought they were paying people $20 per hour .... I guess they couldn't figure out how to make them leave before the game if they didn't buy tickets   🙂

They should’ve printed "BYOS” on the tickets.

This should be another blow out playoff game

😂 You looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer/Software Solution Architect? Remote/Work from home 25% travel. I'll need a non-termination clause within 7 days of a PHI loss to DAL 😂

We are a 10-person executive search firm. So…no. We are fully remote though. Just had a company outing in Nashville in October. Was the first time I’ve met three of my employees in person.
