Siri said every game good qbs will make 3 or 4 plays with their mind that change games and thats what hurts did in the Smith play.

I dont think hurts is out there being peyton manning calling 16 audibles every play.

BJ is responsible for game planning and  O play calls and how many were his alone or Siri doesnt excuse BJ for his role in the confusing often disastrous play calling.

He needs to be better, as does hurts and siri amd the O but ultimately the play calling is on him, its his literal job.

No one is excusing BJ. We just don't know who has the control and who is calling what when. Siri does some situational play calling I'm sure you understand that he's said he overrides several times. ie 4th down at their own 30 you get it.  I think we can agree that Siri hasn't ceded 100% play calling to a year 1 OC. He is just as culpable for the offenses failures and successes as the OC.

Take Hatchetwound for example…

Oh no, she's the opposite.  She's a Commanders homer who doesn't live in DC.

Looks like she hasn't posted since the pandemic

But, deep down… she’s an Eagles fan.

So i live in Kansas ( Wichita) took my kids to school this morning not alot of Chiefs gear today, i was wearing an eagles shirt, i got lots of dirty looks, another dad i see regularly always in eagles gear, was decked out from head to toe, eagles hat jacket shirt pants and even shoes. We say ,Go Birds to each other whenever we see eachother.

A teacher walked by saw my shirt and said to me, thats an ugly shirt. LOL😁 so bitter.

I have a meeting later today for work and im going to be rocking my eagles shirt and im expecting plenty of dirty looks.

Go Birds!

Looking ahead... let's assume that the Eagles and Detroit end with the same record (a very real possibility right now)... the tiebreaker that likely matters due to last night's win moves from 'common opponents' to strength of victory, and as such the Eagles harder schedule becomes a major asset.

Eagles have wins now against 3 7 win teams (Dolphins, Cowboys, Chiefs).   Current strength of victory (0.484)

Lions have 1 win against a 7 win team (Chiefs).  Current strength of victory (0.390)

Lions have games coming up against Vikings (6 wins) and Cowboys (7), but that's about it for games to boost their SOV.   Eagles still have Bills (6 wins), 49ers (7 wins), Cowboys (7 wins) and Seattle (6 wins - though they might end up slipping in weight now with Smith injured).

And we are going to want to root for the Giants and Washington to win some games... to boost the SOV (and hurt their draft status).

Lions will not beat Dallas...just not happening. Dallas will give the Lions their 3rd loss if it doesn't happen to them sooner.

The ST really showed up last night. Toney loves playing against us, but that tackle made it soooo hard on KC.

Agree, Siri needs to be better as well.

I really think fans look ahead, not teams.  The mantra of this team is very focused on the next game, the next play, the next guy. One step at a time, taking care of business.

Didn't they essentially look ahead when they sat Swift in the beginning? One could say they didn't know what he'd look like in the offense but then wouldn't that also mean their practicing failed to see he was clearly ahead of everyone?

Maybe I’m in denial but I can’t see Jason hanging them up if we don’t win the SB. If we do, I think that’s it for him. Either way he has a lot of good football left. He may be my favorite Philly athlete of all time when it’s all said and done.

I believe he is coming back regardless

LOL...I am a Cowboys fan...I've met plenty.

That's the joke.  Honestly, Cowboys fans from Texas bother me far less than the ones are from out of state.

No it was you whining about Hurts after the 2nd DC game. You just an absolute whiner. Best and most complete team in the league and you **** like they are the Giants.

Is that bad? I am starting to think that Siri and BJ may need to learn what a hot read is.

Not sure if he's retiring, just saying thanks, or is being released. If the latter, Howie should get on that.

This...I remember in the game last night, I'm like why is he not audibling out to another play on these obvious blitzes? I even asked if he audibled much in the chat...

Howie

oh. what???

Is he injured or something?

Thank you

He'll need to clear waivers, which he may not.

No team should claim him on waivers given his contract.

He's not going to be claimed with that contract.

Recovering from some serious injuries and surgeries it appears. Kick the tires? There's a Shane connection.

Howie should claim, and re-structure.

Only owed about 6M for this year. Bring some of that money forward, push some to future years, and void years.
