Literally everyone is blaming the coaches. Howie would not be wrong.

He’d be partially right. He sucked this year too.

Stout probably doesn't need to come back either. The "best in the league" OL hasn't looked the part in months.

Smith (and to a lesser extent Goedert) is the only one that came to play.  Look at his jersey.

Some of it absolutely is.   The back 7 is brutally bad.   That's on Howie.

DL, OL is old and some overrated, RB, TE, QB, WR depth.

Jalen Hurts' Super Bowl performance is so weird because in so many other big games and moments, he plays like absolute crap.

Hurts, like a lot of other eagles, looks a lot worse this year than last year.  It’s coaching and chemistry.

Hurts will never be Mahomes, but he’s not as bad as he’s looked his last few games either

And I’m officially out. Fire everyone in defense, I would love to demote BJ since he did better there but likely have to fire him as well. Siri I’m not sure about, but if we do fire him it will look super bad for the organization unless we are back in the playoffs next year.

no good coach will come here if we continue the pattern of firing every 3 years. Try to get Siri to work it out with 2 new/better coordinators. If he fails, then its justified and maybe you can still get a good coach at that point.

I bet Sirianni had no idea his coordinator search last offseason would immediately cost him his job if he got it wrong

Was there a search at OC?  Looked like they just turned it over to Johnson.   And the DC search... likely should have ended in house too.

Too busy having 15 interview with the LB coach who is also garbage

As Buck said, somehow the Eagles are only down by 2 scores. Rule #1 of football, you never let a bad team hang around.  We have a chance.

Yeah he is. He is a gimmick not a QB. Can't check down.

That's somewhat revisionist. He was leading the MVP race earlier in the season by being extremely clutch for the 10-1 start. The whole team regressed massively which points towards coaching.

4th quarter come back ?

He’s not getting fired.

Someone... multiple someones... are getting fired Monday.    There's no doubt about it.   The question is how many (and who in particular)?

No routes to the middle of the field. TB has killed the eagles crappy zone in the middle all game. The coaches suck

He’s done some bad stuff, but the coaches aren’t giving him much help. Our pass routes are static. Hardly any movement. Often when we catch on the run it’s an out route with no chance for YAC. It’s all absurd.

Yep. Horrendous year for Howie. Everything he did turned to S. He’ll blame the coaches and get away with it. Again.

And Jeff will allow it to happen

I have no faith in this team

The thing about Hurts is, if he's not injured and this is what he's going to look like with his legs, then that contract was a major mistake. He will never be a Mahomes or Josh Allen level passer. But his legs made him a weapon. But this Hurts? Not happening. Better hope he's hurt or something and needs surgery after the season.

Goes to show that although some decisions may be hard you have to do the ones that are right. Our whole season was wasted due to inept coaching and lack of experience. Promoting BJ was a decision you cannot make, he needs another 2 years behind an experienced coordinator

He quit... AND sucks.

Eh... not quite.   The back 7 was band aids and chewing gum.

Back 7 yes.  But 7 elite, 4 above average players on offense.   4-5 very good players on D line.

This slop?

Never in 100 years.  You know exactly what I’m taking about and there’s no excuse for it.

He’s somewhere in the middle…shading more to what he is now.  Even last year the problems were evident.  It till week 10 to turn it on last year.
