Hurts isn't going anywhere.

He hasn't played well but I'm giving him a little bit of a pass because he isn't healthy.  You can see it.

He needs to play alot better next year or he's on the hot seat.

Not for me, I never considered him an MVP. Too many turnovers.

Having said that if Howie somehow allows smitty to get away im gonna lose my mind.

The biggest indictment on this coaching staff is that James Bradberry is on the field at all. He’s been the worse CB in the league for months now, and he’s still a starter. Tells you exactly how brain dead and out of touch this entire coaching staff is.

Panic soft firing his DC which completely backfired is what cost him his job. The underwhelming increasingly predictable, declining offense only adds to it along with a roster he has completely lost and has acted like they were attending a funeral for 6 weeks with their vibe.

I said this about Hurts pre 2022 and ate my crow…but the thing is that he’s not talented for a qb.  He’s great when he’s playing like Drew Brees….stepping into throws and pushing the ball downfield.  He did that in the SB.

He doesn’t actually improvise well.  He’s not as dangerous with his feet as Allen, Mahomes, or Jackson.  He doesn’t have anywhere near their arms.  When he breaks out of his base and back pedals, it’s game over.  
 

But he lacks the right combination of comfort, insight, coaching, whatever to be that type of player.  Brees was Brees and knew how he had to play, knew his limitations and so did his coaches.  Hurts plays like Mahomes.

Cam Jurgens has been AWFUL tonight.
