I'm in the minority but anyone would've looked good with CJ quarterbacking. Kid is the real deal. I'm not sure if Slowik runs the ball enough for my liking. But then again that probably would put him at the top of the list for Lurie.
I like Monken better. Uses the run as a foundation which I think needs to happen here but won't, brought Lamar back into MVP form after a rough 2022 as well.

Lots of needs... Not many DE's are on my list for the area the Eagles are picking. 

I like Sirianni.  I think he is a good leader and culture guy. I could point to the front office as the central cause to the meltdown.

Front office impacts:

• I suspect Resolution JC-2A had an influence on the coordinator hiring. Regardless, they missed on both of them.
• They played a part in the panic move to Patricia.
• There wasn't enough talent in the back seven to begin with.  A revolving door of injuries made it an unsustainable mess.

Good: as the talent erodes, Howie does a nice job rebuilding from scratch.

Bad: the talent has to completely erode before Howie does a nice job.  Hurts will mutate into full Wentz by then (if he hasn’t already).  

Bad: Lowie will hire a coach you’ve barely heard of that yes mans into their meddling.

Good: they have a pretty good track record with out of nowhere coaching hires.

The cherry on top is watching the Bucs act like they're a good team.  

The good thing about the NFL is that you really can turn it around in one season and we have a lot of pieces.  Just be decisive, can all these bum coaches and we can compete again in 2024-25

This is a significantly more desirable job compared to 2013 (Chip), 2016 (Doug) and 2021 (Sirianni) because we actually have a QB and weapons. 

Man, Julian Lurie has one of those really, really punchable faces.

Today is not a painful loss. I was partly hoping for it to guarantee change. Going into next season with this staff would've been a disaster. And the Eagles would've gotten smoked next week.
