Great job Eagles players - you did the most with what you had with your incompetent coaching.  Thank you for giving your all - all season.  This nonsense wasn’t on you all.

This is what happens when your leaders fail to lead and get dominated by better leaders and strategists.  It’s the the reason Alexander The Great won and everyone else lost.

It’s time we get an Alexander the Great as a head coach.

Him acting like a total horse's arse doesn't help his case either. That stuff doesn't give you a lot of grace when things turn sour

Yup. His idiotic antics are tolerable when they're playing well. When they play like they did all season, he looks like a Fing clueless idiot

This team was actually favored to win

Vegas is dumb. They’ve favored us for the past several weeks and this team has literally not been competitive.

I can’t do Kelce going out like this

One more year! One more year! One more year!

The Georgia defensive draft fest hasn’t exactly gone to plan.

Who's choice was it to go to Desai over Dennard Wilson?  Wilson knew the back 7... he was familiar with the personnel.  And he's now with the Ravens and their back 7 looks really good.

I give up.  Who's choice was it?

Firing a coach making the playoffs 3 out of 3 years, less than a year after coaching the SB, isn’t desirable. Not saying its wrong to fire anyone, but giving up that quick on a SB winner followed by a SB participant back to back is bad.

yep

What a shame. His coaches and his teammates did him dirty. I really hope he decides to call it quits and spends time with his family. He deserves it He also has plenty of other opportunities out there including his podcast and whatever broadcasting jobs may be offered to him. He doesn't need to put himself through anymore grueling NFL seasons.

Very disappointed with Jalen Carter the last several games after such an amazing start to his career.

I would have said the same thing as recently as three weeks ago. Not now.

The Eagles were a much better team too. This current Eagles team is apparently one of the worst 5-8 teams in the league.

Talent wise, they shouldn't be.

Next year is the last chance Davis and Nolan Smith have to show they aren’t total busts.

Don't forget N. Dean.

No chance

Why? Its the same pattern over and over. There is no consistency with him.

We were 10-1 and did not reach 12 wins. WOW

We’re 10-1 and didn’t win the division needing wins vs the Giants and Cardinals.

Even when the Eagles were in the SB last year and everyone was on the collective jock of this franchise, everyone knew who ran this team…and it wasn’t Siri.  Their organizational structure limits them to a certain subset of coaches anyway.

A roster that is considered well above average in talent was literally not competitive for the better part of the last month.

And it wasn’t due to catastrophic injury.

Seriously, anything short of immediate firings is malpractice by Lurie.

Just wait for when Nakobe Dean is healthy!  Sigh...

I was thinking the exact same thing. Lurie should fire Sirianni, hold an emergency team meeting tomorrow and explain that nothing that happened this season was on the players.

…and then quietly cut Quez Watkins

I like Sirianni.  I think he is a good leader and culture guy. I could point to the front office as the central cause to the meltdown.

Front office impacts:

  • I suspect Resolution JC-2A had an influence on the coordinator hiring. Regardless, they missed on both of them.
  • They played a part in the panic move to Patricia.
  • There wasn't enough talent in the back seven to begin with.  A revolving door of injuries made in unsustainable.

I don’t know how much the Super Bowl impacted the arrogance this team had but we coached and played all year like we didn’t need to earn it. This was one of the most undisciplined teams I’ve ever seen. Sirianni cannot be surprised if he gets fired and if he is smart, he will use this as a huge lesson learned. If he’s lucky he could get another shot based on his HC record. But when you F up, there are consequences, he and others F’ed up royally and he should not be given another chance here

Maybe. I don’t feel like power ranking the worst playoff losses in my lifetime

Aikman called them out on the run game too. Maybe Lurie will finally admit his flawed philosophy that he demands?

Aikman was so spot on with his assessment all night. His comments actually made the game interesting 😅

Didn't notice this during the game
