They’ve got to rip off the Graham band aid.  He’ll play until he’s 50 if they let him.

Love graham and the scheme and coaches didnt do him any favors this year but i think hes cooked.

Keeping him as a part-time rotational backup - which he essentially has been this year - is good.  He's out there playing with heart and not making mistakes.

They need a starting full-time quality DE to start opposite Sweat, and BG in limited snaps makes plays rotating in.

Glad he came out with this so it can be put to bed. Too many people have been writing he's going to retire.

Things have to be put into perspective. Year 1 a bad division got us in the playoffs. Year 2 it all clicked because Steichen and Gannon helped take a load off Sirianni and Hurts mobility kept a lot of teams on edge. Year 3 is an absolute crap storm and talent is the only thing that helped hide the horrible coaching until these last 7 games, then you saw the bad coaching get exposed.

This has to be the weirdest HC assessment the league has seen in a long time. But there is more to it than Sirianni makings the playoffs in all of his 3 years.

I agree... but, this team was 15-2 with this coach and starting QB last year, with one loss being the Super Bowl... and 2 playoff wins.  And then started 10-1 this year.  That's 25 - 3 with this QB and HC together.  That's crazy historic... just as historic as this collapse.... going 1-6 in the last 7 games.

At this point trade anyone you can, get some picks and and start over.

Patricia was in an impossible situation. The only thing he could have done was try to focus on fundamentals and improve that

It's not like he could have run the same stuff Desai did.  But he couldn't change the scheme either.  So he was stuck with just making arbitrary changes.  It was just a dumb, futile move.

I’m not blaming Patricia. He’s a bad DC who had to run someone else’s scheme. It’s like being mad at a puppy for peeing on the carpet. It’s to be expected.

AJ is young and talented, I don't think he is an issue...

He just wants to win and he wants the ball. I’m fine with that all day long, I don’t think he has become a distraction. The distraction was not finding ways to win

It’s 12:04 and no longer a holiday.  WTF is taking Lurie so long!

Had to read a bedtime story to Tina first

Johnson still played pretty well when he was healthy.

I’d let him and Cox walk. It’s time.

BG and Cox are still playing well!

BG is a part-time rotational player and still making plays.  Cox is still playing at a high enough level.

It's really not. Run the ball more consistently and don't abandon it. Drop the stupid Fangio crap, value linebackers and safeties... Not rocket science at all.

I'm fine bringing back Graham and Cox as long as the price is right, meaning much less than this year.  They're decent in a deep rotation.  If they want too much, then no thanks.

2024 is the year to get the cap under control.

Whatever the Vegas odds are on him having a strip sack TD, bet the house.

Jurgens was the least of their problems.

He was bad today.

Siri said he is going to look at play calling, scheme, practices, everything that theyve been doing.

I'm 50/50 on Cox - fine either way but Graham should go.

This clip was it for me. I knew right then he wasn’t it. Shame on me for not accepting it prior to his antics after that game.

You know, I haven't mentioned that here at all because I didn't want to piss anyone off...I've just never seen a HC act like that and it immediately turned me off of him. I get it he's from the younger generation of coaches and they are more outspoken and far less reserved, I am just to old school for that type of stuff personally. I look at the HC to be stoic, person of few words, but when they speak the words are powerful and meaningful.

Cox is a good rotational piece as well. He was playing harder than the young guys. Feel like I heard his name more than Carters.

Of course they’ll have him. He’s still a decent rotational piece.

hes still playing well enough as a rotational DE.

He’s playing well enough as a rotational piece…and we can’t afford to allocate $5m to that.  He’ll be freaking 36 and likely won’t be playing well enough at that point.

nope. theres a significant difference, statistically in the defense after the change to Patricia. There was a tweet that showed the last games with patricia vs the rest of the season with Desai. You could also see various plays pointing out all of the assignment busts once Patricia came in. It got a lot worse with him.

Till tonight. It looked not quite as bad.

20 to the pats. 31 to the Commanders twice. 34 to the Bills, 42 to the 49ers, 33 to the Cowboys.

All season we’ve played soft, we’ve given up big plays and didn’t effect the QB much.

Sure they look slightly worse, they’re disinterested and every position has been hamstrung by the coaching staff. We lost to bad teams it’s demoralizing lol. We let some winds cloud our judgment the defense has been bad regardless of the DC. The offense’s turnovers all season and sputtering 5 of the last 7 doesn’t help either.

Any day now they'll play up to "the standard."

Today… again the least of their problems. Everyone but Smitty was bad today.

I think if you designate BG as a post-June cut, you save $1.5M… you aren’t going to find a replacement depth player that cheap.
