Is it really luck when MVS is trash?

Yeah I honestly don’t think MVS catches that 50% of the time so if hecaught it we’d have had bad luck imo

I don’t disagree that they are bad. They’re still going to catch passes more often than not and they dropped them in high leverage situations.

Errr - what are their catch % on passes 25 yards or more in the air? Less than 50% (obviously) so no, the chances they make those catches are not "more often than not”.

My biggest takeway from that clip is that we get to hear Peyton making insightful comments only to hear Eli whimper "yeah" at the end. Kinda parallels their skill level as players.

Yeah overall that was the game plan but there's a zero percent chance they decided to risk a go ahead wide open bomb with less than 2 min to go.

I think it was Ricks and he got caught flat footed and got roasted.

It was Roby no one intentionally wants to get burned but if you are to get burned better not be Kelce.

Yeah... I like those chances in the rain. Roby should have had better coverage than that though. The man just ran right by him.

Analytics baby... nerds win again.

Right.  Even I said we were "lucky” to win but when I say that, it’s in reference to the "overall” game.  (Going into KC, against Reid on a bye week, against Mahomes, playing our C game on offense, in the rain & wind - and coming out with a win)

No doubt.  Desai and the defense played a monster game.

Just goes to show how much of a fraud Gannon truly is.

We would be defending a championship right now if we would have had a competent DC last season.

Perfectly sums up my thoughts.

I feel like this was a right of passage for us longterm Eagles fans

Let's not forget how much AR undervalued the position though, KC fans now know what it feels like....

Smash

I don’t think Julio has anything at all left in the tank.  I wonder how many of the offense’s struggles last night stemmed from only having to account for a RB and 2 WRS.

Nah that OL and blitz pick up was the problem. Leave OG Batman alone.

He should be limited to a red-zone specialist. Not that Zaccheaus is that great.

The OL was a problem.  But they probably won’t be again.  Julio will still be toast next week.

His tank is near empty but calling a WR screen to him may have been the worst call of the game. Not that any of their WR screens ever work but HE'S the guy you call one for? Just an atrocious play call.

The running game was working. Swift was getting chunks. Scott had 4 YPC on his 2 carries. The abandonment of the run game when the pass rush was teeing off on the Eagles OL was one of the most frustrating things last night. For some reason, be it BJ or Sirianni, they don't seem to know how to counter a defense with what's working well. They should have just kept running the ball at that point.

I hate to say it, but I think our offense will be better with Quez.

He actually didn't look half bad on one of the many slip screens. Hurts couldn't get the ball down field under duress. Maybe he'll have better luck next week.

I would agree.
