Seriously, you guys need to get a grip. You don’t need to start trying to sell my on the win.

We won the game, in their house.

None of my comments are taking away from that.

But I’m also not so delusional as to think that they are incapable of yanking another Lombardi from us if we meet them again.

The Jets beat us with a strong defense this year and they were missing a couple key players. There are no perfect teams in the NFL. Nobody is claiming something can't happen. I'm just tired of hearing alarmists ringing the bell after every win. This team wins ... and wins even when things aren't going our way. Why then should I panic about the forecast?

And there were so many more to choose from.    Remember opening day, 1999... Dougie P drops a beautiful pass over the shoulder to Villanova stud Brian Finneran to seal the first game of the Andy Reid era and hold on to win a close game and run out the clock... only for Finneran to not catch the ball, knock it up in the air, and have it intercepted and returned about 30-40 yards setting up a game winning FG for the Cardinals.  Yeah, I was there at that game... with my wife.  First game she ever went to.     (Also, last game she ever went to.)

Not only that but for Finneran to then go on and have a pretty successful career for the Falcons when the Eagles couldn't find a WR to save their life. Not that Finneran was a difference maker but he was a solid depth WR who offered great size. Guy ended up playing 9 years for the Falcons and ended his career with a 13 YCP average and 19 TDs. He had a 3 year stretch from 2001 to 2003 where he had 21 YPC, 15 YPC and 14 YPC.

The Finneran brothers were dynamic at Villanova. As a UD fan, having to watch them and Westbrook in college was never fun.

Glass half empty folks can't be happy for a W against one of the best teams in the league. Life of the party types.

Regarding luck --- the chiefs were lucky that on this TD, holding wasn't called. Reddick, Sweat and Cox were all held and all had a legit path to the QB if not for the holds.

... and that was the story of the game all night. Sure, they missed some calls against the Eagles that the announcers caught, but no mention about the blatant holds all night long by the KC offense.

Byard had the big INT in the endzone, but WHAT IN THE WORLD is he doing on that play?

You’re entitled to approach the team and season however you want to.

My lens is Super Bowl or bust at this point.

So, while I am happy that we beat them, and it was a good win. It did not change the result of last years Super Bowl, and it doesn’t mean that they couldn’t beat us again this year if we see them again.

So when I evaluate KC and the game from last night, I can be happy about the result and still concerned that they won’t make as many mistakes if we play them again.

You’ve gone full clown….never go full clown.

Adults are talking about the Eagles.

Triggered? If the shoe fits lol. I see people talking about luck and fortune and what ifs. Very adult like indeed.

You can't know that.  Ask Jackie Smith about that one.   Amirite @Joe Ball?

Oh damn you’re scraping off old scabs man lol…that hurts.

Man, he really is the Travis Kelce of coaches. If he wasn't the Eagles coach, he'd be very high up on punchable faces. With that being said, glad he's on our side!

He’s pretty much become the most hated HC in the NFL nationwide among fans. Which is kinda a weird feeling. Like we’re back in 2013.

BTW, I was 9 years old at the time…he was so open, Roger could have thrown a better ball honestly. Those damn Steelers in the 70s were tough. Not just a championship game, the damn SB!

No in season parade this year

I’m into reality.

Reality is Scantling could have just as easily made the catch. We were fortunate that he didn’t this time.

If we play the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, we better execute a hell of a lot better that we did last night or we’ll lose again.

I think you are being overly generous.  His success percentage is rarely above 50% and that pass was overthrown and only hit his fingers. That was a low percentage pass, especially with the rain.

That court can be retired forever.  They played poorly on it in both home games.  Need a different one for next year.  That was bad luck.

One of my buddies is a dallass fan. He was a hater of nick. Now he loves him.

Athletic player poll. Bills and 49ers are going to love the Linc

Most annoying fan base: Eagles, which I think is hilarious and understandable. I love Philly’s brand of passion, but I can see how rivals think it’s supremely grating. Maybe just beat them. A close runner-up: Cowboys. Perfect list.

Hit him directly in the hands. And whatever his overall catch percentage is is irrelevant to the discussion. We are talking about a wide open deep ball that was placed perfectly in his hands. Not all of his targets are similar to this.

Silly that there are back to backs after in tournament games. They play again tomorrow after giving JoJo 41 minutes and Maxey 47.

Reagor says hi.

NFL head coaching candidates for 2024: Ben Johnson, Brian Johnson and 12 others to watch

Brian Johnson, offensive coordinator, Philadelphia Eagles

The former Utah quarterback helped Jalen Hurts develop into a top-flight QB while serving as his Eagles position coach. Now in his first season as offensive coordinator, Johnson has Philly’s offense ranked among the top three in the league in yards and points.

I enjoy these threads, but Reese kind of sleep walked through some of this game.

Wonder where he is at with Daniel Jones vs Jalen Hurts now

Lol. I didn’t notice this live. Both safeties covered Kelce. That has to be a bust.

Merrill is still good. He’s not in Al Michaels territory of decline. But there’s definitely been a drop off
