It just wasn't going to happen today for the Lions... 

 

The moon was misaligned for a Lions' win today.

As crazy as it sounds, if only one game goes our way today, this was the one most needed. Have a cushion over Dallas plus a head to head. Now 2 games over the Lions, and they have a 2nd conference loss.

Does a 14-3 record with losses to SanFran and Dallas get us the #1 seed if Det is also 14-3?

Think it would go by division record as their conference record would be the same. Both Would be 5-1 in division so i don’t know what tiebreaker is after that. That said lions are losing more than 3 games so it won’t matter.

Nope.  49ers get the #1, Detroit #2 and Eagles #3 (but only happens if Detroit beats Dallas).

SF wins tiebreaker based on conference record.
Detroit wins tiebreaker (at that point) due to SOV.

No turkey and only $10k donation..come on nfl..you make more than that in commercials for a single game

We'd have the same conference and common game records.

The next would be strength of victory, which is too difficult to predict right now.

The tie breaker would be conf record..so far they have 2 conf losses (sea/gb) and eagles have 0.

ETA: well under your scenario there would be a tie and not sure what strength of victory is right now

I really hate myself for saying this, but they could use Watkins back. They need a better 3rd wr. While he’s super inconsistent l, he at least gives you a vertical threat. Julio really offers more of a red zone threat at his size and sadly not much more.

People will disagree but I’d consider just working out Jarvis Landry and just see what the hell he looks like. If he’s awful then say no thanks. But if he actually looks decent he could be better than julio and Watkins. I do t think he looks better than either though
