I think I’d actually do the same thing if I were the 9ers.

The 9ers traded a boat load of picks for him and are basically selling out to win a Super Bowl in the 3 year window of 2022 through 2024.

There are only 17 games in an NFL season and they are trying to keep pace with the Eagles for HFA.

I think if you make a big trade for a star RB, this is the only way to justify it. You have 3 good years. Run him into the ground and get every bit of value you can out of him.

Yes, you gamble a bit with injuries, but at the end of the day the NFL is more of a sprint than a marathon when compared to other professional sports. Losing a game because you limited your best player’s usage has more drastic consequences than in the MLB, NBA, etc.

Teams are idiotic. Other teams may not have the success rate using sneaks on 4th and short the Eagles do, but that doesn't mean that calling generic run plays are more likely to convert. It's almost like teams are trying too hard to be contrarians and are not doing it out of principle.

I’m not worried about Dallas. They have 2 more losses, we’ve already beaten them once, and we have a game in hand over them.

The 9ers are a better team than Dallas. Better QB, better skill players, and a talented defense.

A lot has been made about the eagles winning close games and not putting teams away. But yet we have beaten some good teams — Chiefs, Cowboys, Dolphins, Vikings before the injuries.

I think we are getting every team’s best shot and overcoming it. 9ers are the only team in the NFC that might steal HFA.

Still got some space on the lions for #1 seed. That's a win in my book. Their schedule is so easy the rest of the way. I expected all 3 teams to win.
