Amazing what running the ball actually can do for an offense.

Now all we need is that defensive score...

For whatever reason the Eagles as a team don't trust their running game. Haven't since like week 3. What they want to do and how they want to attack teams and how they want to build their offense is stuff decided Mon-Saturdays. The reaosn they don't trust it? I don't know, but they clearly don't. If they did they'd use it more.

Remember years ago when the Eagles went up to Buffalo and beat Buffalo because they ran the ball all over them? And then there was a report that came out the Jeffrey lurie was upset cause they didn’t throw it to win it. At times I feel like when I watch this team they want to win throwing the ball instead of just winning the Fing game and dominating a way that they can dominate.

there's a pulse -_-

Got ourselves a ball game

Somehow

Amazing what happens when you put the ball in the hands of one of your best play makers

Too little too late though. I mean WTF are they doing waiting until the middle of the 3rd quarter to run some of these plays. We are lucky they missed some FG but they have the secondary's number at this point.

Defensive stop with a short field would be nice

Turnover from D would really get things going

For the love of everything holy, continue to run the ball.

Sometimes it's not that hard.

Yea, little bit of blood ran down there...

at least they don't start with a short field

Why does it take until halfway through the 3rd quarter to start calling an actual offense?

Starting to tighten up - much better :Eagle_smiley:

Johnson out.. don't get fancy, just run against a bad run defense.

Especially in the rain.......

Could have been doing that ALL game! BUt they stuck with the game plan they had all week, until 2nd posession of the 2nd half.....

SLOW to react to situational game developments....

That RZ sequence was well designed.  Give BJ credit.

No they are right. The original rule just stopped at "inside the collar of the back" recently the "name plate" bit was added.

He didn’t grab the nameplate. I think his fist was just on back.

how they're only down 3? with plenty of time left.

This team really thrives in chaos. It’s a disaster to watch but they’re comfortable in it.

Their philosophies on offense and defense are a top down thing. They want to pass, sometimes to their detriment, and right now the organization is obsessed with Fangio style defenses. Every coach they've brought in since Schwartz left has been a Fangio disciple and even Fangio himself as a consultant.

Exactly! And that should have been the game plan from the start!

It's almost like running behind Mailata/Dickerson/Kelce with your best RB could lead to good things
