Our game plan makes no sense. Down lane Johnson, the pass D is 9th in the league. Run defense is 20th. So we try to beat them throwing the ball in a rain storm. Meanwhile the run game is what has gotten us back within 3

Sure seems to be a higher level issue... because they didn't want to run under Andy... then didn't want to run under Pederson... not under Sirianni...  it's systemic beyond the HC and OC.   But, in heavy run, without your RT... some lenience should be offered by Lurie.

Be nice if the defense could get us a Turnover here..... short field etc....

Defense isn’t the reason they are in the hole they are. That’s an issue for another day. It’s your offense turning it over twice (routinely been an issue this year) and not being able to show up for the first half of games the past two weeks. Your offense looks a lot better against the bills if you run with swift against the 20th ranked run defense and not try to pass in a rain storm without lane against the 9th overall pass d.

It’s also a rain storm against a team bottom 1/3 against the run. This is why your game plan week to week should go towards what your opponents strengths and weaknesses are. Not we have to pass to get the lead and win. It’s not always gonna be that way.
