She was probably the best of all the guest hosts who auditioned (Aaron Rodgers was clearly the worst) so I’m not surprised she eventually got the job as primary host. But Ken quickly caught her, and then just as quickly surpassed her. He’s fantastic.

I don’t know if you’re aware of the circumstances or not, so I’ll elaborate for those who don’t know. The 14-1 Redskins came to the Vet for the final game of that season. The Eagles had been eliminated the week before. The Eagles played all their starters and played all out. The Redskins pulled all their starters out at halftime while leading. The Eagles came back to win on a field goal on the last play of the game. 

It’s a win in the record books so it counts. But no one who watched that game would objectively come away thinking it was a meaningful achievement.

I am ashamed to say I know this... but I'm pretty sure Taylor and Donna Kelce already met.  I am pretty sure I saw them together in a luxury box at one of the first games since the circus came to town.  

 

Meanwhile, can we not share the Travis and Taylor updates here?    I know the blog gets into a lot of stuff that's not Eagles related, but the Taylor-Travis saga is TMZ level topics.

Not sure.  I've never been accused of stealing anything in the self checkout.  I know there is someone watching you but nobody ever said anything.

what would of course be so amazing,  improbable of course, but amazing,  would be if there were 2 different Carters in the NFL.   Not just the famous Eagles Carter who we all know,  but a mystery Carter who we don't know and care about.  And it would be absolutely crazy if that mystery Carter who had a girlfriend steal at Target got in trouble.  It would be almost impossible for so many to even understand.
