Everyone loves to hate on Gainwell…and there was that botched exchange…but he was very effective in sparing relief of Swift today.

He made some real nice cuts. That's the best he's looked in a while.

Maybe I’m wrong.  I thought he looked really gassed…

Oh, he was gassed, but he made plays.

When you put it that way…

Uh oh Nick and his daughter in the post game again.  Hope for her sake she doesn't do anything to set him off again.

Jordan Davis still has some conditioning and body sculpting to do.

He’s a totally different player from last year and has been one of the most improved players on the roster….but he flatlines if you leave him out there too long.

Not sure about that.  He kept up with Allen toe to toe when Allen was going full speed, out of bounds - and that was late in the game

What are you talking about? Dude is 6'6" and doesn't carry a ton of bad weight.  After that win this is a dope take

Split zone is his best play. He hits the hole perfectly almost every time.

Did you see him in OT?  He balled out.

Yeah…not sure this was the game to make that point…if there is even a point to be made on that

That wasn't on him at all though.   That was 100% on Hurts.

I bet the full game review will look pretty good for Stoll.  He usually blocks well (can’t say I noticed him there, which is a plus…not to mention, I am assuming he helped make Driscoll less noticeable)…and that was a really nice reception he had.

He’s probably washed, but we need him more. A warm body will do.

That was a great hustle.  I just thought his body language looked gassed for most of the 2nd half.

I didn’t get to watch the all 22 last week against the Chiefs, but if somebody who has can tell me how they managed to take away AJ Brown and forcing the Eagles to beat them with their other receiving weapons. Feels like the bills might have done the same thing today which with goedert out is a smart gameplan. With goedert out If you can minimize brown then the eagles have smith and swift that really scare you. OZ, julio, Stoll and Watkins are Ok for what they are but it’s smart plan to force them to beat you and if they do you tip your cap to them. Gonna try to watch both the all 22 of the chiefs and bills game and see what bills and chiefs did with him. But if anyone who has watched all 22 can give me a heads up before watching it would be appreciated cause the last two weeks brown has 6 receptions for 45 yards.

That was my impression too, but the police are much more likely to want to put that on Gainwell.

That's insane.

I don’t have the statistics but I’d love to know how many of the turnovers we’ve had this year have occurred with gainwell on the field. I feel like there’s been a good portion of them

honestly i will still take him, washed or not. Ellis getting lost on that TD has me worried if we have to rely on him for a long stretch.

100% on Hurts.  He panicked.

Very fortunate the eagles won but it didn't have to be that difficult. Had the eagles got swift going early it could've been more more comfortable 7-10 point win in regulation.

It seemed like an overload blitz, so the ball should’ve been out instantaneously - not a slow will he/won’t he handoff.

You are wrong.   He was gassed... but kept going.  He nearly single handedly shut down the run on the last drive and forced them to go to the air... which helped because it saved us time for that winning drive.  And without him chasing Allen from behind on that 2nd down, that 3rd down play might not have happened, because Allen could have played the dipsy-do on the LB coming in pursuit, like he did so many times to other guys in 1 on 1 situations and converted for a TD.  Davis chasing from behind forced him to keep going to the sidelines... and then he was fully gassed and just laid on the field... "like a vet" and took his time getting up so that he could get extra rest and only need to miss 1 play, despite being completely on empty.

So, I agree that he could use some more cardio and likely lose about 10-15lbs... I don't want to change too much about him, because when he's fresh, he's a beast.  But, in no way did he turn into a pumpkin at the end.  In the 4th, he might have been, but he really gutted it out in OT.  Tons of respect from me.

That’s his son. It took me 5 minutes to figure it out too. They look like twins.

Huge W this evening.  Certainly gives us a bit of a buffer now for the next two.  If we can win one of the two we are in great shape.

Pedal to the metal next week against the Niners.
