Seems like he likely did. We know he asked for a trade, twice. Then just left the team for "personal reasons” which ended up just sounding like a cover for him to stay away.

You have to ask yourself if the coach is bringing out the best in his players or they're performing despite him.

When was he good? What games was Driscoll good or even OK enough before today when replacing Lane at RT?

They barely won vs Dallas after Lane had them up 20-0.

They scored 10 vs the Saints with Driscoll at RT.

They scored 22 vs NY instead of 48 or 38 in the other 2 games.

To what was I supposed to be paying attention? Preseason?

 

He played better today but to act like it was so obvious or that you had some advanced knowledge beforehand is just smarmy BS.

I’m really not that surprised. Since the bye week the niners are playing their best football. Eagles have yet to put together a complete game whereas the niners have been pretty close each of the last 3 weeks. They have 3 extra days off. And the eagles are likely without goedert and lane’s ability is likely factoring in. Plus Cox and Cunningham banged up. And then got the niners revenge factor in it which i think is BS as it’s a new year and it doesn’t change the past.  Curious to see how the line goes the rest of the week.

id argue the eagles have the best record and they find ways to win, but I’d argue the last 3 weeks the niners have looked like a well oiled machine.

Slay got away with 2 DPI’s. The horse collar on Allen fiasco I have no intent on revisiting. There were some other non calls but I think the refs weren’t terrible, they mostly let them play

Frankly if I’m desai i go watch him Schwartz game plan against shanahan. For as much as people got on Schwartz, he has had great success against the niners. Even this year (granted niners down some guys).

Yes. But kickers are a different breed now. I have no idea what it is besides advancements in training. Akers in his prime would probably be the guy on the Texans today, even though he was great for his time.

I agree, let them play. The only time I really have an issue with referees is when they impact the outcome of the game. I don’t think anything today that was or wasn’t  called affected the outcome.

Its somewhat difficult to judge bc samuel was out early in that game and I believe mccaffery went out later as well.

Nope. I said it before the game. You can search for the post. Hes better at T than G. Everyone remembers him at guard and rushes to make a poor assessment of him and sticks with it. Be smarter.

Last 10 years, kickers have become automatic from distances that were iffy to even try from. It has been crazy to see
