Frankly if I’m desai i go watch him Schwartz game plan against shanahan. For as much as people got on Schwartz, he has had great success against the niners. Even this year (granted niners down some guys).

He has a way better secondary to work with there though...

It is Suh season as far as I concerned. With Cox hurt and Williams coming back from the concussion, we need another guy that can eat up snaps and make some impact.  Suh will be ready to roll for a trophy run.

The tricky thing is that Cox, Davis, Carter, Williams, Tui, and Ojomo mean there is no room at DT.  When everyone is healthy, Suh wouldn’t even dress.

They might be able to use Suh for the next couple weeks to rest Cox, but he might be useless after that.

Nope. I said it before the game. You can search for the post. Hes better at T than G. Everyone remembers him at guard and rushes to make a poor assessment of him and sticks with it. Be smarter.

Give us actual examples of his good or even OK OT play on an NFL field before today or shut up.

Weak sauce loser insults are free. You always have lots of them. I think you are permanently butt hurt from something I said 14 months ago. Maybe one of your friends got banned while attacking me and 5 other people?

How about you back up your stupid comment instead?

He was terrible at OT mostly last year

He was horrific at Guard this year.

Him being better at OT that Guard did not make him good or even OK at OT.

Hurts also ran for his life on lots of plays today. The first 3 plays were throw the ball away from pressure for some examples. I'm sure none of it was Driscoll not being OK though since you know everything. 🤣

This stat is just crazy

Wow, Westbrook only had 37? Crazy. McCoy 44 is crazy too

I agree, let them play. The only time I really have an issue with referees is when they impact the outcome of the game. I don’t think anything today that was or wasn’t  called affected the outcome.

The weak roughing the passer in OT absolutely could have, but the rest was fine.

He will own that record by then end of ‘24, if not that early then middle of ’25.

"All he does is catch TD’s”

You can blame Reid’s pass happy offense for that.

Honestly, the more I see this team without Goedert, the more I wish we had a fullback, particularly one good at lead blocking and pass blocking.. I think we could just brutally bully people if we had one, at least until Goedert gets back. Giving a shifty, good vision, cutback centric runner like Swift a fullback AND a pulling center is just dangerous. Doubly so when the average weight of linebackers has been falling for years.

Really should just fire Brandon Staley after this game.

Yes, it is a crowded room.  Just don't know if they want to roll with Marlon T and Ojomo when they can bring in a proven vet.

Over the last 2 weeks combined, Jalen Hurts has 50 yards and 2 INTs in the 1st half...combined. They need to fix this. Jalen does, Nick does and BJ does. I know we joke about it on here but it's honestly time to retire the WR screen. Twice now, BJ has called a WR screen to Julio Jones. Think about that. He hasn't gone back to the play he got a TD on but he's called the same play twice that loses yards.

Something is just off with this passing game. The passing game should not be laboring with Brown and Smith yet it does. It's looked more like trying to find an open James Thrash or Torrance Small as of late. Need to make some changes.

Run the bank more early.  It clearly sets up the pass.  It us that simple.

His handle having (blue check) is hilarious to me for some reason.

Just noticed that, lol.

Chris Long is basically the Blog during games….

Played most of his career with the Rams... won a ring in NE... but this man is an Eagles die hard.  Love it... and I think he signed here on his dad's advice.

It would be nice to go a game without having a backbreaking turnover. There’s no such thing as a good turnover, but every one of their turnovers just feels like an absolute gunshot to the foot. Balls getting tipped and landing perfectly into the lap of a defender, botching a handoff at the meshpoint, the interception against the Jets. Just statistically improbable situations and scenarios. And they happen on a weekly basis.

Sign him to the PS and figure it out in 3 weeks

I would love to have a guy like Kyle Juszczyk on the team.

Yep.  Kelce and Mailata were going nuts right before the snap, pointing, etc - I knew they saw something and it was likely going to be a draw.

Now that I’ve cooled down and settled down from another cardiotoxic win…

1. The offense has all the pieces and has flexed all the muscles.  It just desperately needs consistency and a more rational flow to the play calling.  I’m not as down on BJ as everyone else…I’m not sure all this rests on him.  But this offense reminds me of the Phillies lineup.  When it’s good it’s spectacular and when it’s off it’s really bad.  They need to find that consistency…on the down side, we are really deep in the season to still be looking for that.  On the plus side, they’ve shown time and time again how elite they can be.

2.  This defense has cobbled together some sporadic statistically excellent performances against elite offenses.  But more often than not, I feel like they are just hanging on by a thread.  And when they hang on successfully, it often feels like misfires from the other team help more than our core stars.  Every time the qb drops back to pass, it feels like the secondary is hanging on for dear life.  It usually takes a drop or a misfire or a luckily missed PI for a drive to stall.
