This is the 49ers Super Bowl. They're well rested while we're coming off an OT game. We're banged up.

49ers are probably going to win. But we'll win the rest of our games and still get the #1 seed.

Over the last 2 weeks combined, Jalen Hurts has 50 yards and 2 INTs in the 1st half...combined. They need to fix this. Jalen does, Nick does and BJ does. I know we joke about it on here but it's honestly time to retire the WR screen. Twice now, BJ has called a WR screen to Julio Jones. Think about that. He hasn't gone back to the play he got a TD on but he's called the same play twice that loses yards.

Something is just off with this passing game. The passing game should not be laboring with Brown and Smith yet it does. It's looked more like trying to find an open James Thrash or Torrance Small as of late. Need to make some changes.

Not sure if you noticed but the slip screen to Julio set up a big play later faking it and going up top.

The weak roughing the passer in OT absolutely could have, but the rest was fine.

I’m not trying to be argumentative here but that same scenario happened in the KC game as well and was called against the Eagles. The defender had the chance to pull up in both cases and didn’t, he took a full step and a half once the ball was away and forearm checked him. If it were Hurts on the other end of that play you’d want that call right? I would.

They are going to protect the QB, they’ve been consistent about that the last several years. 15-20 years ago they don’t call that, but they do now, if the ball is away and contact can be avoided, avoid it. Otherwise it’s gonna get called.

The tricky thing is that Cox, Davis, Carter, Williams, Tui, and Ojomo mean there is no room at DT.  When everyone is healthy, Suh wouldn’t even dress.

They might be able to use Suh for the next couple weeks to rest Cox, but he might be useless after that.

I’d take Suh over Tui or Ojomo any day.

Anyone know why Lane Johnson didnt play today?

Honestly, the more I see this team without Goedert, the more I wish we had a fullback, particularly one good at lead blocking and pass blocking.. I think we could just brutally bully people if we had one, at least until Goedert gets back. Giving a shifty, good vision, cutback centric runner like Swift a fullback AND a pulling center is just dangerous. Doubly so when the average weight of linebackers has been falling for years.

That's not how statistics work.

You give QB1's record when his team gave up 33+

Then you give QB2's record in the same instance of 33+

Justin Herbert is 2-7 when his team allows 33+

Dak is 3-9 when his team gives up 33+

Jalen Hurts is 3-4 when his team gives up 33+

Edit: Mahomes is 2-8

I'm not going to go through 20 years of Brady right now but you get the idea.

Per usual, they’ll play a nail biter that goes to the end and could go either way.  They could easily win.

But the Dallas and Seattle games are going to be toss ups too, can’t assume those are wins.

I think there was a tweet about it somewhere.

That man flopped his ass off. Morrow isn't that damn strong when Allen has been trucking the whole team all game. Good acting because it worked.

I’m guessing Brady has played in far fewer games (well, the rate at least) in which the defense gave up that many points than any of these guys…Dak, Herbert, and Hurts.  Brady had elite defense most of the time.

I would love to have a guy like Kyle Juszczyk on the team.

We have Ben VanSumbody.  Freakbeast extraordinaire. Gotta flip like Andy did with that LB years ago... whatever his name is... or Dan Klecko style Ojomo.

Healthy scratch.  Lost his job to Driscoll.

It'd be super hard to stop our running game if we were like that. I'm pretty sure we'd give people absolute fits if we had a lead blocking fullback and Kelce on the same team with our offensive line, or heaven forbid...

Giving a lead blocker to Hurts. Christ.

He tweaked his groin late in the week and they gave him an MRI this morning or early afternoon.

I did not hear the results of the MRI but they were saying he was questionable to play leading up to the 1pm kickoffs.
