Hurts is not that good running outside the tackles...because he’s not actually that fast.  He’s very good running through a wide gap DL and a defense that leaves the middle of the field open respecting the pass.

Those runs are so much more successful than the designed off tackle runs that usually result in Hurts sitting down for a loss.

This offense is better as a north south offense, both in the passing and running game.

Hurts yes, Swift no.  Swift did his damage on the edges tonight and should have more designed outside runs.  

 

Is it me or does every Eagles game this Season feel like a Rollercoaster ride?  Regardless, I've enjoyed each game (except the Jets Game).

Is there any update on Cunningham yet? Leonard is apparently visiting Dallarse this morning and you can pretty much guarantee they make him an offer now they know how thin we are at LB.

I know for damn sure Elliss is not the answer at Linebacker, aside from Leonard is there anyone else decent currently on the street?

They’ve just got to get on to the phone to him regardless. Yesterday showed how paper thin we are at LB even if Cunningham is good to go.

This team is winning games and coming up when it matters with their C+ game. Their home field advantage is real and Purdy is the one who has to come in on the road and win here. Yea, the helmet being a lighter shade was made even more obvious as the jerseys got wet. The KG jerseys resembled the true KG once they were soaked. Not sure why Nike has so many issues getting Eagles colors correct. With that being said, I'll take the incorrect KG over the current green any day of the week. 

If I could wish for one thing for next weeks game....it'd be a lack of motherf'ing rain falling out of the sky!!   No...it actually DOESN'T have to be raining during an Eagles game!!

I had the same thought

I'm not worried about Reddick's snap counts nearly as much as I am Sweat's. Reddick's playstyle is just less physical and lets him play more. He's also lighter, so running around more suits him. Sweat though? He was struggling late out there.

The offense can't keep doing this to the defense. Need to call more runs early on in the game (I know, I know) just to give the defense a break.

The Eagles going 16-1 with their only loss being to the Jets would be pretty funny.

Agree they should sign him. 

I also think Elliss can be better than what was shown on replay where he was caught flat footed with the TD pass sailing directly over his head. With a week of practice and preparation as a starter. So Im not in full panic mode.
